The Witch is brewing a potion

Hi Everyone,

The theme for this mani was potions. The Witch is brewing a potion in her cauldron. It is filled with eyeballs, bones, bats, spiders, skulls, chopped off arms etc.

Sinful Colors Snow me White base and randomly painted over that with China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini and Kiwi Cool-Ade. Stamped with BM13 bat and big spider, BM225 small bones, BM H06 eyeballs, BM H07 small spiders and skulls and BM H08 the chopped off arms and the cauldron. I dotted the big bones and the bubbles.  Using Konad stamping polishes for the stamping.

And another picture.

Also a picture of just my random yellow/green base.

I really liked how bright this was.

Bloody mess

Hi everyone,

The challenge for the Bundle Monster Challenge was open wounds. But also in one of my FB groups it was zombie squish technique. I used the tutorial from PackAPunch Polish to create this look.

Base a red from Colorama, over that a nude from P2 that I've made matte with China Glaze Magic matte. And played with my dotting tool scratching it. Stamped with BM-H06 the blood drops on my skin.

And another picture.

I just kept playing with this and peeling parts from it ahaha, so later took another picture when it looked even more bloody :P

This was so fun to do and later also used this technique for another mani....a ripped open zebra haha. Will post that soon too :)

Thanks for reading :)

Just something really simple. The theme was skeleton and did something quick and boring haha.

Mummies...creative with toilet paper :P

Hi Everyone,

This was my mani for the BM challenge day 21 and the theme was Mummies. I did not have a real mummy looking image so I had to improvise ;) and I was creative with toilet paper.

Base Sinful Colors Black on Black. Used the balls of yarn image (well I think it supposed to be that) from BM206 to make mummy heads haha and added eyes with a dotting tool. And on my ring finger I've been creative with pieces of toilet paper and also a dotting tool

And another picture of my hand.

I so loved doing this mani...might be my favorite I've done. It was just so fun playing with the toilet paper haha.

Pirates

Hi Everyone,

The BM challenge for day 29 is Pirates. I don't have their new sun kissed collection which contains pirate images so had to find another way to make a pirate mani using BM plates ;)

Base Sinful Colors Snow me White and P2 680 Glamour. Stamped the wood with Konad SN brown and BM309 (made it look like an old pirate ship). The anchor on my pinkie is from BM08. For my ring finger I used BM423 to make the red dotted pirate bandana and used BM413 for his mouth and freehanded the rest. For my middle finger I used BM-H07 for the skull and freehanded the flag and the bones. For my index I used the skull from BM225 and freehanded the bandana and the bones.

I will post all the other mani's soon too, think I'll blog twice a day now.

Hi Everyone,

Ofcoure I had to do a mani with my favorite Halloween plate too. I know most of my mani's now I used Bundle Monster plates because of their challenge. You can also read and see more info in those blogposts.

I used Stampaholics ST02 and Essence stampy black (love it that it is matte) over a gradient holo base with Catrice ApHolo 7, Nubar Absolute and Color Club Revvvolution.

Here a picture of the gradient base.

Werewolf under a full moon

Hi Everyone,

Remember the black cat on the wall mani I've showed you last week? Well I changed that mani later. I felt like something was missing and also the challenge from Bundle Monster was werewolves. So I decided to remove the kitty and add a wolf ;) And I also added some stars in the night sky.

Base Seventeen 545 (kinda has a suede look to it). Stamped with Konad SN yellow the peace sign from BM320 so I could color it and it could be my moon (see I do combine stamping with a little freehand  haha). Used Konad SN pastel orange (this isn't really a pastel) to color part of my nail and stamped over it with BM422 in black to make it look like a brick wall. The SN Konad yellow and silver stars are from BM14 and the black wolf is from plate LLC10.

Diwali Festival and Happy B-day Bob

Hi Everyone,

Tomorrow is the Diwali Festival and it is also the birthday of the sweet Roberta over at Bob Plays with Polish. She asked on her blog and facebook if people wanted to join her Birthday Party and do a Diwali mani. I always love learning more about other cultures. So of course I also wanted to do a Diwali mani for her birthday.

Diwali also known as Deepavali and the "festival of lights", is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn every year. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.

I googled images and read about it and this is what I came up with. I was inspired by all the candles and the red/orange color tones.

A gradient base with Kleancolor metallic red and metallic orange. Stamped the swirly image with Konad SN yellow and XL plate O and stamped the candles with Konad SN white from Winstonia W215 (later colored over the candles with black, blue orange and yellow).

And another picture.

I forgot to take a picture of just the gradient base..sorry.

Happy Birthday Roberta! Hope you have a lovely day and may all your wishes come true.

And for those who celebrate Diwali..I wish you all a Happy Diwali Festival :) It sounds like a beautiful thing.

A green Bundle Monster Goblin ;)

Hi everyone,

Today again a Halloween mani that I did for the Bundle Monster challenge. The theme that day was "Goblins". So I had to be creative since I don't really have a plate with Goblins on it. I decided to make the Bundle Monster' Monster as a Goblin. So I drew him Goblin ears haha and I added lots of green Goblin slime.

Sinful colors Snow me white made a stamping decal of the monster and drew him goblin ears (smudged the decal a little) using BM409 and stamped green slime with Konad PSN apple green and BM405.

I messed up the decal a little and also the stamping isn't perfect..but slime and Goblins aren't perfect either ;)

The skeleton man is on the loose

Hi Everyone.

Remember last year I did this mani of the skeleton man escaping from his coffin. You can see it here. This year I really wanted do it again :) And it was a perfect mani for the theme "Grave" for the BM challenge. Only my nails were a lot shorter now then last year, so I did not had that much space. But still it was fun to do again.

"Who is that knocking in the coffin?
It's me.... the skeleton man  Let me out let me out!
I don't want to be in my grave.
Yes I am almost there just a little bit further.
Woohoo I am out, you can't catch me.
Na nana nanaaa.... Happy dance :)"

A gradient base with textured polishes Julie G Tangerine Dream and Sugar Rush. Used BM402 and BM413 for the stamping, first stamped the coffins in black and colored them black and stamped over them with white.

I have done some many mani's for Halloween, think I'll blog a lot more this week ;) But just short posts. The long post from my holiday in Greece will have to wait till next month or so ;)

Have a nice sunday!

Scary zombies

Hi Everyone,

Today another Halloween mani I've made this week. I really did a lot of Halloween mani's this week. This was for the Bundle Monster challenge and the theme that day was zombies .As you all know I like being creative with stamps too and use parts of image to create something new. I also did this here too and I also used a little freehand.

China Glaze FYI holo base stamped with BM-H06 the eyes (first stamped in red and colored them red and stamped over it with white), the teeth (first stamped in black then stamped over it in white) and the blood. BM-H08 for the zombie hands and BM411 for the stitches (used parts of it). And a little freehand for the nose and mouth on my thumb.

I only have one pic to show, I already swatched this polish some years ago so no swatches.

Have a nice weekend!

Black cat on the wall

Hi Everyone,

Today one of my Halloween themed mani's I've made this week. I made a couple of them I love Halloween themed mani's. I wish Halloween was a real holiday here too :) Julep contacted me and asked me if I wanted to participate with their Halloween challenge...and I said yes cause always love a challenge and especially when it is a fun theme. I don't own any Julep polish since it isn't easy for me to get, but ofcourse I've seen their polishes on blogs and facebook of my fellow nail addicts :)

They send me a Halloween nail art tutorial....we all know my freehand skills aren't that great. And I have many other Halloween ideas but I thought it was fun to do a stamping mani based on their freehand tutorial..since I am a stamping girl ;) It isn't my most favorite Halloween mani I did but it was fun to do and I did gave my own spin to it...they used a fence and I made it a wall ;)

First I'll show you my mani and then I'll share Julep's tutorial with you. I would love to see your version of it if you decide to make it :)

I needed to use a blue for the night sky color, I could have used a darker more midnight blue but I wanted to use my new polish from the Greek brand Seventeen that I bought on my vacation there ;) It is opaque in one coat so that is nice and it also stamps, so win win. Will show swatches at the end of this post.

Now here is my mani.
Base Seventeen 545 (kinda has a suede look to it). Stamped with Konad SN yellow the peace sign from BM320 so I could color it and it could be my moon (see I do combine stamping with a little freehand :P haha). Used Konad SN pastel orange (this isn't really a pastel) to color part of my nail and stamped over it with BM422 in black to make it look like a brick wall. The black cat is from Nailways Darker Period- Halloween.

Here the tutorial from Julep.

You have to zoom the read so to make it easier for you a cut it in pieces so you can easily see the steps.

You can see all of Julep's nail polish colors online.

Like I said if you make this look please let me know I would love to see :)

Here as promised some swatches of my new Seventeen polish. I only used one coat for this.

I really like this brand and every time when I am in Greece I have to buy at least one polish :)

Thank you for reading :)
