Happy Halloween :)

Hi Everyone,

Happy Halloween! Today another Halloween mani, again this isn't my current creation. Will show those later, still have 2 more to show you ;) So Halloween on my blog will be a bit longer ;) Hope you don't mind haha.

Like I said before Halloween isn't really celebrated here, but I do plan to go to a Halloween party this Saturday, just like last year :) Me and my sis love Halloween, she also carved a pumpkin. Sometimes we wish we live in the USA ;)

This was a really quick mani I just painted over me neon base lol cause I knew the metallic polishes are opaque in one coat. For this one I've used Konad plates.

Base Flormar Supershine 50 and 47 gradient. Stamped the pumpkin from Konad M13 first with Konad SN yellow (colored it) and stamped over it with Konad SN orange pearl. The cats are from Konad Coraline C01 and C02 stamped in Konad SN black (dotted SN yellow eyes) and the stars are from M14 stamped with Konad SN yellow.

I really like these flormar polishes :)

Hope you all have a great Halloween. My sis and I are going to a concert tonight (she got free tickets) but we will dress up saturday for the Halloween party.

Black Cats under a Full Moon

Hi lovely readers,

The challenge this Sunday on Adventures in Stamping was Halloween themed, so a perfect excuse for me to make something Halloweenish (is that a word? ;)) A had many ideas and also some cool self made Hello Kitty Halloween decals. But I decided to go for the full moon and black cats. I also really wanted to use one of my franken polishes I made with many polishes and Spectraflair.

Base a blue franken mixed a lot of blue polishes with some Spectraflair. Stamped "the moon" with SN yellow and imageplate HB012 (it actually is a Christmas ball hahaha. The rest I stamped with SN black using HB28, Konad Coraline plates C01, C02, C04, BM13. Made yellow eyes with a dotting tool. And stamped some silver stars with Essence silver stampy polish and M14 (you see the stars better on the picture below).

Also some swatches of my blue franken holo, I put in a really small empty Konad mini stamping polish bottle :)

I have a weakness for blue polishes and I really like this blue :)

Inspired by music/song challenge (Bon Jovi)

Today I'll show you my creations I made for the inspired by your favourite music/song challenge. I don't really have one favourite band or music style but I do like these songs for many years now. And my mom also liked Bon Jovi especially the song Bed of Roses.

This is my 1st for this challenge inspired by these lyrics:

I actually found this one funny... it tells a story ;) But not pretty and I only had this on one hand and went out the door with it, with on my other hand something completely different ;)

It's been raining and the water level is rising on each finger. On my ring finger a girl who's been left by her boyfriend looking sad waving goodbye with a broken heart. And the water level keeps on rising and on my thumb it's at the top. And the girl just gave up looking sad/angry she is drowning in the flood (all the bubbles of her last breath).

Base China Glaze Moody Blue, water sponged with PSN sky blue on top a layer of Maybelline Bolt of blue 140 for the glitter. Rain stamped with Konad SN blue and M13, waves to make it more look like water from H20 (SN pastel blue), broken heart from M18 (made it broken myself) girls from Coraline C02 and C05 (SN black pearl), bubbles from M16, M34 and M35 (SN blue, black pearl).

My 2nd creation was also from a song from Bon Jovi and I did these because it was also one of my moms favourite songs.

I wanna lay you down in a bed of roses

These I found a lot prettier ;) and did it on both hands and I'm still wearing it.

Somehow I really love blue and I was in a blue mood so I chose for a blue base again. Base is Teeez Cool 02 a blue holographic polish and on my ring finger Nfu Oh 65 a light blue holo. I stamped some roses from M65 with SN black pearl on them and on my ring finger a love couple (self made water decal) from a guy who'd love to lay his girl on a bed of roses ;) also stamped a blue rose from M25 with SN blue and SN black pearl above them.

I know there is a lot more to the song then just that one sentence, but I only used the Bed of Roses part literally for this creation ;)

He's going in Circles with nail art

Here the photo's of He's going in Circles with nail art. I uses the limited edition Konad Coraline imageplates for this. This is from June 2009.

The sunny french is stamped with Konad PSN Jungle Green and imageplate C06. The dragonfly's with SN psyche pink and blue pearl C03. Photo outside without flash.

My Halloween nails from last year

Like I said in my previous post we don't celebrate Halloween here but I do like making Halloween nails. So here is my creation of last year. It is a bit of a mixed theme Halloween/Fall.

 

I'm wearing OPI My Privat Jet. I used Konad Coraline plates C01, C02, C04, C05 and M28, M31.

The animals I stamped with SN white, the leafes with SN yellow, SN apple green, SN orange and SN cool red.
