China Glaze Kaleidoscope week: Octa Gone Wild

This is my favorite nailpolish from this collection or maybe of my whole stash. My bottle is half empty :( This is one of the colors I've worn more than once. I love purple and the holo is amazing.

China Glaze Kaleidoscope week!

With the new China Glaze Tronica collection coming up I thought it would be nice to show some swatches of another holographic collection the Kaleidoscope from 2005. It's my favorite nailpolish collection, to bad it isn't available anymore :( I have all 12 colors and will show swatches of the 9 I've worn, 3 of them I haven't worn yet, so those swatches will come some day in the future ;) I will also show the colors with my nail art creations on it.
From the white dot clockwise:
- It's my turn
- Don't be a square
- Rated holographic
- Spin me round
- Visit me in prism
- Let's do it in 3D
- Tickle my triangle
- How about a tumble
- Octa gone wild
- Kaleidoscope him out
- He's going in circles
- Sexagon

Holographic and full nail flowers.

My last nail art creation I totally messed up, so I had to do something else quick and easy. When I want to do something quick I always go for a holographic nailpolish most of the time one of the China Glaze Kaleidoscope collection. This is my favorite collection ever! (I have all 12 of them and will post swacthes later) I  haven't worn them all I still have to wear 3 of them. But they are my precious jewels ;) just totally love them and they dry really fast.

Base China Glaze Rated Holographic from the Kaleidoscope collection. I stamped with Konad SN white and plate M73. It is pretty difficult to stamp a full nail twice on long nails. Photo with flash.

Sinterklaas nails

Sinterklaas is a Dutch holiday. We celebrate it on the 5th of december. I don't celebrate it this year but I did wanted to make some Sinterklaas nails.

My nails are little presents wrapped in China Glaze Sexagon from the Kaleidoscope collection. Every finger has a different bow matching to the Black Petes and Sinterklaas hats, stamped with Konad SN yellow, red, blue, green and imageplate M3. The Black Petes and Sinterklaas are self made water decals.

Now for my international readers some information about our Sinterklaas holiday, I got this information from a website (read more info about Sinterklaas) because it will take me to long to try to explain it in English myself ;)

Sinterklaas is an old man, who has been around for a very long time, like santa. And like santa he likes to hand out presents. Sinterklaas lives in Spain and once a year he comes to the Netherlands on his steamboat for his birthday. He arrives at the end of November together with his helpers and his white horse. The helpers are called Black Petes. They are black because they are always crawling through the chimneys of every house to deliver the presents. As soon as the Sint is in the country, kids all over get excited. Every week they get to put one shoe under the chimney. In your shoe you put carrots for the Sints horse, and a present wish list. And often something sweet to chew on, for the Sint and his helpers. The kids also sing Sinterklaas songs, to get the Sint in a good mood. Then at night, Sint and his Petes walk over the roofs and the Petes jump down the chimneys. They collect the things in the shoes and exchange them for presents and chocolate letters. That is, if you were a good kid all year. If you weren’t you have to watch out, because he just might take you back to Spain with him as punishment.

Then on the fifth of December it is the Sints birthday. This day there is a lot of singing for Sinterklaas. In the evening he and his Petes go around and deliver big bags of presents everywhere. The difference with Christmas presents is that every present has a little poem with it. These poems are usually used to tease people and point out their flaws, but in a funny and nice way.

Efteling

This weekend I went to the Efteling, it's a big theme park here in the Netherlands. The planning was to make it a family day out, but my mom was sick (more then a month now) so she and my dad couldn't come and I went alone with my boyfriend.
On my nails I have Pardoes that is the symbol of the Efteling. Pardoes are self made water decals. (also the logo on my thumb) I stamped with Konad SN yellow and plate M3. The red dots I made with a dotting tool. As a base I'm wearing China Glaze Spin me round from the Kaleidoscope collection.

I also made my feet match with my hands ;)

Here you can see my nails and on the background a statue of Pardoes.

The Efteling is really a beautifull park with lot's of green and flowers.
From up here you can see the entire park but I'm not that crazy about heights so I didn't went in there ;)

I met up with one of my little nail friends Svenja, (sometimes I call here my little sister for fun) the park was open untill midnight and in the evening she joined us and we went in the big rollercoaster together. And from eleven till midnight we stayed in the waterboats, we were totally soaked :)

We are standing in front of Vogelrok, a rollercoaster in the dark with flash lights and birds.

You have the Carnaval there it's really fun (maybe childish but I like it :) ) there all moving dolls and then you visit different countries. For example: The Netherlands, France, Japan and some African jungle country.

There was also a Lego exhibition and I loved the big dino so I had to take a picture ;)
Another attraction is Pandadream it's a 3D movie with special effect from the WWF. And at the end you can morph yourself into an animal. So this is me as a Walrus hahaha.

I had a wonderful day with my boyfriend and in the evening also with Svenja. To bad my parents couldn't come but maybe next year.
