I am back :)

Hi Everyone,
I feel so sad for neglecting my blog. I have been pretty active on instagram and facebook though but still this small little space online deserves attention too ;)

So I promise to write here again. Part of the reason I did not blogged was that my laptop is very old and slow...just starting it and trying to type took a while that I stopped trying. I downloaded the app but keep getting an error while posting a new post. But I will figure it out and try to blog from my phone.

Here is a mani I did yesterday for a tone on tone challenge in one of the FB groups.

A pastel blue and pink base. A little wonky ;) but I stamped the lines 5 times with 5 different pink tones and blue tones ( MdU and Konad stamping polishes). The lines are from Nailways Back to Basics - Lines.

Thank you all for reading. I hope I still some readers left haha :)

Valentines Day 2016: Heart shaped love letters

Happy Valentines Day for my lovely readers!

Here are my Heart shaped love letters and these are my actual Valentines Day nails..heart shaped love letters, lace and some bling ;)

Essence 46 Black is back for the base, I double processed stamped the heart shaped love letters (first picked up the writing MM24 with BPS black then the hearts MM03 with MdU 25 so I could stamped the hearts with writing on my nails) Also added some lace MM44 (too bad the picture doesn't show the lace details well) On my ring finger I outlined the heart with tiny silver rhinestones.

Happy Valentines Day :)

Nani the dog nails with MoYou Nails 405 and 408

Hi Everbody,

Remember in my review about the new MoYou Nails Square plates I showed you these doggy nails and I promised to write a blog post about it too. They/we are still so busy at home with the new bathroom and everything got delayed again :( I have been doing my nails, just not as often.

But I did these nails about 2 weeks ago when we went to pick up our adoption doggy Nani.

Base a gradient with  China Glaze Tickle my Triangle and How About a Tumble, stamped the paw prints from MoYou Nails 405 using Konad and MdU polish. The puppy is from 408. The letters come from Nailways Back to Basics - 123ABC.

Nani is 11 months old and from Spain, she was dumped as a small pup in the fields to die :( But since August she was in a Spanish shelter and November 8th she arrived here in Holland and stayed with a foster mom. We decided to adopt her. We already showed interest in her when we saw her "adopt me" poster on facebook and we filled in the application.  They liked us and we were allowed to contact her foster mom. When we called we heard she ran away in the forest when she was with her foster mom and got scared from 2 bigger dogs. So the next day we helped search for her. And I was the one who actually found her.

Her first night with us and she met her "niece" Yoshi the red wired hair Dachshund.

This were my nails for good luck when we helped searching for her. And you see me with her when we just found her. Then it was not even sure we would be her adoption parents but who could resist that cute little face. I was so happy we found her.

Base is Essence Happy Girls are Pretty LE 02 Happy Girls Rock. Stamped the paws with HB 37 and the dog is from MoYou Nails 66.

We are so happy to have this sweet little girl with us.

Thank you for reading.

Ladyqueen review: HeHe 055 plate over a gradient base

Hi Everyone,

I recently received some products from Ladyqueen as you all know I love stamping so I got a pretty plate Hehe 055 and this silver knuckle ring. And ofcourse I had to do a mani with it. So let's show the mani first and then a close up of the plate.

Look at all those cute little toys. The base is a gradient with  Lime Crime Lavendairy, Once in a Blue Mousse and Crema de Limon. Stamped the images from Hehe 055 and used MdU 5 for stamping. I really liked how cute this was.

Now here a close up of the Hehe 055 plate.You can find it on Ladyqueen under this name NA0587 Nail Art Stamp Template.
Look at all those tiny toys those images are great as as a full nail but you can also use them as single images, they are a great size for small kids nails or use them to create a scene :) And all the icecream, pie, cupcakes looks yummy too. I really like the party flags too. Think this is a great plate with lots of options to make different mani's. And the quality is great too.

Here a picture of the gradient base. I really like these pastel colors.

As you can see on the first picture I also have the knuckle ring on my finger, you can find it on Ladyqueen under this name SP0420 Knuckle Ring. I have never wore a knuckle ring before so I had to get used to it but will show it more often on mani's :)

Ladyqueen sells lot's of other plates and nail art stuff and also jewelry on more beauty related items. If you use the code: NQLC15 you will get 15% off (also see the banner at the side of my blog). They also have these Flash Sale items make sure to check them out :)

In loving memory of our rat Faith

Hi Everyone,

Last thursday our ratty Faith died. She would have turned 3 in about 4 weeks so she was pretty old. And she even had tumor surgery twice in her life. She was a very strong lady. Now she died very peacefully because of old age and joined her sweet sister Hope who passed away in January.

Ofcourse I had to do a mani to honor her. In the fb group WON we had a chance to submit images for a special WON plate made by Fab Ur Nails ofcourse I had to submit ratties and cheese. I drew the images myself from pictures I saw online. I once submitted these for the BM CYO too but they did not pick them so I was happy they made it on the FUN-WON. The plate also has some Arctic images on it that were my idea and some of them I drew too :)

Gradient with China Glaze Son of a Peach and Neon & On & On. Stamped the full nail with FUN16 and MdU pastel pink. The word Faith is from FUN17 and the ratties and cheese are the images from the special FUN-WON plate. If you look close you see the one one my thumb has wings too stamped with Konad M90.  I try to color the images to match Faith her colors.

And some more pictures.

Here also one with Faith so you can see her colors.

And the last picture we took about a week before she passed away she was still very active then.

We were at the pet store this weekend to get some food and other supplies and we always look and cuddle the ratties there. But there was one who kept climbing out towards us, she was adorable and she misses part of her ear. We did not plan to get a new ratty, I said 3 were enough but I fell in love. Also because of her ear I was afraid she might become snake food...cause maybe other people would not want her. When we decided she had to come home with us and the employee saw the ear he said half price is fine....that is how little a small animal life is worth. But for us she is perfect.

On instagram there is this tag #mynailsandmyrat so I had to take a picture of our new ritten Scar and my memorial nails for Faith :)

Thanks for reading.

Have a nice weekend!

Flowers and butterflies

Hi Everyone,

For this weekend I did a matching pedi and mani. I am going swimming so I love to do a matching pedi. And it is inspired by the colors of my bikini.

It was hard to photograph the pink flowers are better showing in real life ;)

Catrice LE Rock-O-Co C04 Apricoco. Stamped with BP-34 the flowers and Mundo de Uñas Avocado and Tulip and stamped with Catrice Rock-O-Co C01 L'Ombre A Sanssouci the grey butterflies from Born Pretty BP-22.

And my matching pedi.

I really love this base polish, it is actually a matte.

This is 3 thin coats and it dried really fast.

Have a nice weekend.

MoYou Nails entire Concept collection + Tink mani/pedi

Hi Everyone,

Today I have an exciting and long blog post for you. I have the entire MoYou Nails Concept Collection to show you. This collection contains of 10 round plates that are fully etched and each one has it's own different theme. Like music, fairytales, Christmas/winter, summer, romantique, Halloween, animal (print) and more. So there is something in it for everyone and you can buy these as a set but also individually. I will show plate scans I've made, pictures, some details and my first mani and machting pedi done with these plates.

I know everbody loves a discount so when you use the code: Diana you will get 20 % off your entire order when shopping online. You can't use this code/ coupon together with any other codes/ coupons. Also valid on their US website, so this is great news for my US readers :)

* I used my own scans to make this.

I got all 10 plates together with a stamper, plastic scraper and their 2015 Catalogue.

Let's show the individual scans I've made of the plates.

Plate 300 music themed. You can use parts or go for full nail stamping but also single out images like the music noted and stars.

Plate 301 fairytales, how adorable is Tinker Bell I just had to use her for my first mani and pedi. This plate has this magical feel to it with the twinkle stars and unicorns and beautiful roses.

Plate 302 Christmas/ Winter themed. I love how this plate has small and bigger images. Like the snowman I can use as full nail coverage but it also has these smaller images to make winter sceneries. I almost feel like doing a Christmas in May mani ;)

Plate 303 animals and animal print. How cute is it that this plate animal heads and their print pattern.

Plate 304 Halloween. Even though Halloween isn't really celebrated here I love this Holiday and always do many Halloween mani's. I see myself using this a lot in October looks great for making sceneries (and that happen to be one of my favorite kind of mani's to do ;)) The Happy Halloween can be spread across 2 fingers and I just love the bats. I also see myself using the trees for non Halloween mani's like an Autumn scenery.

Plate 305 "Nibble, nibble, like a mouse, Who is nibbling at my house?" when I saw this plate it reminded me of Hansel and Gretel because of the house and the candy. I love that you can use the images as full nail but also single out the candy and other parts. This has lots of potential to get creative with, like french tip stamping or diagonal stamping.

Plate 306 Love/ Valentine themed. I like the text and all the cute hearts. Cupid is adorable too, but he is a little big for my nails but ofcourse I can use parts of it. And as you know I like doing pedi's too, so some of the bigger hearts are great for my big too.

Plate 307 Summer!!! Summer is my favorite season. I am born the day the Summer starts here, also the longest day...June 21st. The palm trees are so pretty and look at all those cute icecream images and shells. Yes I think I'll use this plate for my next mani :)

Plate 308 Ankh, crosses, spiders, bats and a skull. I think the crosses are pretty cool ands the spiders and web too. The Ankh is too big to stamp on his own but maybe for those with really really long nails or you can stamp it on something other then nails like your phone case.

Plate 309 Wedding themed. Look at those champagne glasses and the wedding cake. I think you can easily single out images to stamp but also would look good as a full nail design. For me personally the rings are too big, that is little downside, even using the shrinking method these won't fit. But there are other ways to use parts of this like for stamping a plain french tip.

I think this is a beautiful collection that has something to offer for everyone. People with long/width nails and also small/narrow nails or even kids nails. On most of the plates you can easily single out images too (not that easy on plate 308). I like these kind of plates because you can just stamp parts of it too and it can also challenge you to be creative and think outside the box. There are more ways too use a plate then just stamp what your stamper picks up or what you see at first glance :)

Like I said I find it a little sad the Cupid, the Ankh, Tink and the Wedding rings are too big to stamp entirely on a nail, but you can use parts of it. And I did use Tinker Bell on my mani see pictures below. My nails aren't that big they vary from 1,2 cm pinkie to 1,7 cm thumb. I've seen other bloggers and Tink fits way better on their nails ;) But even though see does not fit me completely I still liked how she looked.

Here a scan of a page of their Catalogue with the Concept collection on it.

And some pictures of the plates.

Now ofcourse you want to see how they stamp too. I have done a mani and a matching pedi using plate 301. The qualilty of these plates are super good.
Base Catrice (S)wimbledon triple stamped the stars with Mundo de Uñas black, white and lilac. Made a stamping decal of Tink and used Konad black for her and colored with regular polishes.

Also did a matching pedi.
Like I said my nails vary from 1,2 cm pinkie to 1,7 cm thumb so you can get an idea of the size. The image from Tink completely is about 2,1 cm in length.

And a swatch of this pretty base color.

I had a lot of fun doing this mani and pedi. And I promise to make many more mani's (pedi's) with these plates soon :)

Some more information:

- The plates are 5,5 cm.
- They have a nice backing with the website printed on so no sharp edges.
- There are small and big images on these plates, like Tinker Bell is about 2,1 cm long but there are also images that are only 0,6 cm (snowmen) so it really is fun for everyone.
- You can also find MoYou nails on Instagram and Facebook.
- You can buy them for £39.99 as a set of ten on their website or £4.99 each.
- Shipping costs depends on where you live but you can calculate them while you view your cart with items.
- Use the code: Diana to get 20% off your entire order (can't use this code in combination with other codes)

Have a lovely day.
