Just a quick update from me :) I'm back from my holiday!

Hi you all :)

I'm not going to start blogging again regularly, but maybe I will post something once a month or every few weeks or something like that. I just wanted to thank all of you for the sweet and encouraging words, they really mean a lot to me ♥ I also wanted to let you know I'm back from my 3 weeks in Greece, that was really great and I miss it (especially the adorable cats that lived around our appartment and we fed for 3 weeks).

Unfortunatally my mom is still very sick :( The last 3 chemotherapies also did not do anything, (we heard that news during our holiday :( ) she has had 6 chemo's already :( but none of them worked...so this is really sad news.

At the moment she is lying in the hospital for a really heavy chemo, that will last nonstop for a few days....hopefully this will work....♥ I have my fingers crossed ♥

Ofcourse you do want to see some nails and nail art, so here are my holiday nails that I made before we went to the Greek Island Kos.

This one is made after a week, at the beach with a beautiful sunset.

Base OPI DS Sapphire (underneath a layer of China Glaza Sexagon). Some selfmade Greek water decals of a donkey, a logo from Kos, the Greek flag and the island. Sort of Greek signs stamped with Konad SN blue and XL imageplate B.

Various Older Bright Neon Summer Nails

Today I'll show you some older neon creations that I all made in July 2010. I love bright colors especially in the summer :)

The first one is a bright pink star creation.

Base China Glaze Pink Voltage. Stamped with Color Club Wild at heart and imageplate M15, and some Konad SN pastel violet stars from M3.

And ofcourse I also wanted to match my toes again ;)

For this second creation I was inspired by an entry of the summer sponging challenge on Polish Hoarder Disorder it was made by Emerald Sparkled I totally loved the bright colors she used and the pineapples. I also had to make matching toes :)

Base on my hands and toes is OPI Alpine Snow and China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. On my big toe I stamped with Konad SN dark orange and SN green imageplate M29.

My hands base OPI Alpine Snow with China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. Sponged with China Glaze Sun Worshipper, Konad SN white and on top that China Glaze Kiwi Cool-ade and China Glaze Turned up turquoise. Stamped with Konad SN Black and image plate M29.

This third creation is a neon with flowers.

 Base China Glaze Turned up turquoise. Stamped with Konad SN pastel green and imageplate M75. With a dotting I made some SN pastel violet and pastel blue dots in the flowers. On my ring finger 2 green flower fabrics.

This is also a color that I really like.

I thought let's do a nice happy neon summer post today because I need some happiness. And from looking outside I don't get happy, yesterday the weather here was nice and sunny but today it was a really cloudy day :(

Bees and Butterflies on OPI The Show Must Go On

This I made last weekend :) The Show Must Go On is my only polish from this collection and although a lot of people think it's more like a christmas color I finally really wanted to try it. So I made a summer creation on it ;)

Base OPI TSMGO, butterflies stamped with HB32 and Konad SN yellow and SN pastel pink. The leafs/flowers are from imageplate H11 stamped with Konad SN pastel orange mixed with SN white. On my ring finger 2 fimo Bees.

When it's summer I always like to match my toes with my hands, so I did that again :)

Summer Water Marble Nails

Tuesday the summer officially starts here (although the weather is bad and was way better last month) it is also my birthday then :) So I always remember the day the summer starts. I saw some nice water marble nails lately and also this gorgeous orange one on My Simple Little Pleasures that inspired me to do a water mable too. I haven't done that for quite some time. I first tested it on a nail tip last week and now on my own nails. Ofcourse I'm no expert like she is ;) but I had fun and like the result :)

I found it very summer like with those colors and they reminded me of peaches but I couldn't hold it normally :) it was too big or my hands too small ;)

Base is Risque Amarelo Real. Marbled with China Glaze Street Racing, OPI Tangerine Scene, OPI Need Sunglasses and OPI Fiercely Fiona.

Keroppi Nails (on OPI Bikini Envy)

My big sister is a huge Hello Kitty/ Sanrio fan, and she collects all kinds of stuff from it. Mostly small Hello Kitty figures, but also stuffed animals. Not only from Hello Kitty but also Hello Kitty's friends the other Sanrio characters. Last christmas she gave me a cute stuffed animal of Keroppi (Hello Kitty's frog friend) and she said I should make Keroppi nails and then take a photo with the stuffed animal :) And that is what I finally did ;)

Base OPI Bikini Envy with self made water decals of Keroppi (and I believe his sister). I stamped with Konad PSN Cool Red some water lilies up side down with imageplate M66. Also from M66 water lily pads/leafs with PSN Apple Ggreen.

On my thumb I colored his eyes and clothers with a white nail art pen from Essence.

Flowers, pink, sailing and holo (Nfu Oh) all things I love ♥

Last week I mentioned I had Nfu Oh 63 on my nails and I wanted to post that friday but blogger was down. And in the weekends I normally am not online. So I will show you this today. Not last weekend but the weekend before that we hired a small moterboat in Giethoorn, and my best friend, his girlfriend, my boyfriend and I had so much fun that day. Ofcourse I took some photos of my nails there, the last time I was there I took the photo that is my blog logo now with the big water lily. I wanted take a new one with a lily but unfortunately it was to early in the season and the lilies were not in bloom yet. I did take some other nature photos. So I have a lot of photo spam for you :)

I sooo totally love Nfu Oh holo's and also loved this creation I had it on my nails for more then a week.

I also painted my toe nails. I wasn't really matching but it did matched a lillte bit because I used this Nfu Oh for stamping. For those of you who don't like the see foot photos..... DON'T look ;)

 Base Teeez Outta Control a beautiful bright dark purple holo nail polish.

I stamped some flowers from XL plate F with Nfu Oh 63 and Nfu Oh 65.

OPI DS Extravagance (with nail art XL plate F)

I have OPI DS Extravangance in my stash for more then a year but I never worn it...I know shame on me ;) Some of my nail friend did, when they were at my place, but I never used it on my own nails....so it was about time to do that :) It is such a beautiful color.

Stamped with Konad SN pastel violet and XL plate F. I really like this  flower design. First I stamped with Nfu Oh holo, but I did not liked that holo effect on this polish. Photo with flash.
