Sea and shells

Hi everyone,

Today something I've made a few weeks ago, like I said I am so behind with posting. I actually did this when the challenge in AIS was saran wrap, but never posted them...lol :)

Base P2 Far East So close LE 030 Bluish green, saran wrapped with Catrice 400 Blue Cara Ciao. On my ring finger just the P2 polish with a layer of Barry M confetti effect Bubblegum. Stamped with Cheeky Jumbo 2 Tropical Holiday and Konad SN white.

And as you all know by know I love making a matching pedi in the Summer :)

And some swatches of just the P2 base polish.

And a pic of the saran wrap base and the Barry M confetti ring finger.

Thanks for reading :)

Have a nice day.

Monthly Palette Project...May

Hi Everyone,

Over at WON (one of the groups I am in on facebook), there is this cool monthly palette project. To encourage members to use certain colors or techniques. This monthly palette was silk brights and no special technique required. So of course I did a stamping mani ;) I did this earlier this week, cause I am really not  feeling well at the moment, stupid cold or something keep sneezing and everything hurts.

I also broke both my pinkie nails (right hand 2 weeks ago and my left hand last weekend, I guess my hands like to be symmetric :P ) but it really hurts cause if you look closely you can see the flesh above the nail. Somehow when I stopped biting after a few years the flesh on my pinkie, index and thumb grew above my finger top. So breaking one hurts, tried filing and cutting it away but that was even more painful. Well hopefully they both will grow back fast.

Here you can see this months palette and my nails :)

Base P2 stormy (it was one of my untried polishes I got it from my Brazilian friend who used to live here in Holland but moved back home and all the polishes she left behind we a gift for me :) ) I stamped with an Essence plate and used Kleancolor metallic aqua, purple, red and mango.

 My nails closer.

And a swatch of P2 stormy.
I actually did liked this color and dried quick and was opaque in 2 coats.

Thanks for reading enjoy your weekend!

P2 Bloggers' Choice with nailart

Hi Everyone,

As I have said a couple of times already, I love P2. That is a budget brand from Germany. I love their nail polish and limited editions. The quality is great and very cheap too :) Every now and then they renew their assortment and I always like to look at the new products. One of the new nail polishes I found a while ago was P2 789 Bloggers' Choice...I needed this polish for the name ;) And it is also a unique color too. Very bright and shimmery. It probably looks better with tanned skin, but I do like this color. Made this a couple of weeks ago.

Base P2 789 Bloggers' Choice. I made stamping decals again (following Messy Mansion tutorial, coloring the stamp on your stamper and add a topcoat and peel it off as a sticker) I used Konad SN black and M67, colored them with Kleancolor metallic orange, blue and green. Green plants stamped with M32 and SN green.

Anoter picture of my hand.

And some swatches.

I love this polish and his name too :)

Thanks for reading.

P2 Sand Style 050 Confidential with paint splatters ;)

Hi Everyone,

I am not the bigest fan of texture polish, but I do like trying new things. So I really wanted a texture polish too. I got this one from my BF a couple of months ago, while we were in Germany. I love P2 is a really good budget brand, with awesome LE's too.

Base P2 Sand Style 050 Confidential. Stamped with Konad M70 (full nail) and M21 (paint dots) using Konad SN pastel yellow and SN pink pearl. Without topcoat so you see the matte glitter/gritty stucture.

 With topcoat.

And some swatches.

I do really like this color with the multi colored glitter (mostly pink and yellow) but I do find it weird to get use to this gritty structure ;)

Here a pic of the matte and shiny version, which do you like best?

Thanks for reading!

Bright neon gradient music nails

Hi Everyone,

Remember my previous post that I said those black and white nails were a fail to me? I just wasn't feeling them, they made me depressed, not happy, so I really needed something bright. So I went for a neon gradient :) not very rocky for music band night but I so needed happy nails.

White base from P2 and on top a gradient with China Glaze Beach Cruise-r, Hang Ten-Toes, Towel Boy Toy, I'm With The Lifeguard and Sun-Kissed. On top a layer of China Glaze Wireless Holographic topcoat. Stamped with Konad SN black using Cheeky CH31 and the headphone is from one of the newest Essence plates and I made a stamping decal (see Messy Mansion's tutorial ) of it coloring it with white and silver.

And some pics of just the neon gradient base :)

I also had a birthday that weekend of one of my friends who turned 30 so later I added little 30 numbers on my index finger next to the headphones. I only have a cellphone picture of that and it all is a bit blue. It was fun teasing him, cause he did not like turning 30 years old ;)

I really love neon polishes.

Enjoy your weekend!

Happy Easter! Skittle nails + short holiday pics :)

Happy Easter everyone!

Like I said yesterday, I made Easter nails a week ago before a went on a short holiday to Center Parcs in Belgium. We had fun especially in the sub tropical pool with the under water camera. And it was sooo cold that week, with snow...so it felt more like Winter then almost Easter and Spring time. When I go swimming I always love to paint my toes too, so I did a pedi and a mani :)

Base P2 Ship Ahoi! 01 Pure white, sponged with Konad SN pastel yellow, SN pastel green, SN pastel violet, SN pastel blue, China Glaze Peachy Keen and SN pastel pink. With a layer of China Glaze wireless holographic topcoat.

Stamped the eggs in the same colors as the tips of the gradient base imageplate Nailways Spring Time - Easter Bunny A-NW00006 and Konad SN white flowers from M2. Little dots in the same pastel colors made with a dotting tool.

My right hand.

Again my left hand with the shorty in the middle with different lighting.

And of course some pics of both hands with the gradient base.

And like I said I also did a Easter skittle pedi :) And took some pictures in the pool and under water :)

Base China Glaze Peachy Keen, China Glaze Lemon Fizz, China Glaze Moody Blue, Chine Glaze Go Go Pink and China Glaze Refreshmint. Stamped the full nail eggs with Nailways Spring Time- Easter Bunny A-NW00006 plate. With Konad SN pastel orange, SN yellow (mixed with orange), SN sky blue, SN pink pearl and SN green.

Again but then a underwater shot :)

It so much fun playing with the under water camera.

And some pictures of my mani in Center Parcs and other holiday pics.

In the market dome with flamingos in the back.

At the children's petting zoo/farm with a cow.

At the sort of beach around the lake. It looks so warm and sunny but it was freezing, if you look closely you see the lake is frozen in the back.

We even had snow :( soooo cold.

But it does look pretty the white snowy scenery with the Swan shaped water pedals.

Walking on the high wooden rope brigde on heels :P lol.

Petting the sheep who walk free in the entire park :)

Walking over the stones in the tropical Market Dome.

 The pretty flamingos.

The parrots.

Dave and my sis in the Market Dome.

At the other side of the pond walking with Yoshi the dog, Dave took this pic from "our" back yard.

Me and my sis in the Discovery Bay with the water drops.

 Look no feet :P

Dave and I in the Pirate boat.

Poor duckies on the frozen pond.

 Cool tree :)

Let's pretend it is Spring/Summer ;) lol well that day without the wind it was very nice there.

Part of the pool from above.

Under water...lol.

Together from one of the water slides.

 Under the water fall.

Part of the pool with the family slide in the evening.

Me and the Flamingos.

Hope you enjoyed  watching and reading about my short holiday to Center Parcs :)
And of course my mani and pedi too?

Have a nice Easter everyone.
