Liberation Day 2015

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for not blogging very often, I promise to do it more again. Things just have been kinda busy and I 've been sick. But I still have lots and lots of mani's to show you, like a couple of Rock 'n' Roll mani's, mani's with my first Mundo polishes, mani's with a couple of my new MoYou nails plates (the round ones), also some with my first Chez Delaney plates and lots more ;) And ofcourse I also still have many older mani's to show from before I started blogging.

I have been posting more on my instagram: https://instagram.com/dianavnisselroy/

Today May 4th  is remembrance of the dead and tomorrow May 5th we celebrate Liberation Day with lots of music festivals across the country. Ofcourse I had to make a mani. And I'll be going to one of the music festivals, there is one in every county/province. It is always fun to celebrate our freedom with some amazing free live music. Lots of great bands/artists are coming.

Base is Sinful Colors Black on Black. With the flames representing the liberation fire (FUN7), the stripes in the colors of the Dutch flag red white and blue (Konad M44), the words 'free' and 'music' cause we have our freedom and can celebrate and enjoy it by listen to music or express yourself through music (MoYou 115) and the guitar cause I love listen to live music and will be going to the Liberation festival tomorrow (Cheeky Jumbo 5 Musical nails). All stamped using Mundo polishes.

And Monday it was Kings Day (fleamarkets, live music etc). I was not feeling 100% but did went to a local bar to see some live music.

Instead of a bright orange base like I usually do I went with a black base (now that I have Mundo polishes that stamp great over black haha) :) And ofcourse did used orange our national color and the colors of our red, white and blue flag. Some Dutch mills, little crowns, tulips and ofcourse beer wink-;)

I used Winstonia Store W105 for the beer, W215 for part of the crowns and W218 for the mills. Stamped with Mundo de Uñas 28 neon orange, 51 tulip mixed with Konad red, 1 white, 30 neon blue mixed with 5 turquoise, 18 silver and 46 mustard. The base is Sinful Colors Black on Black.

Christmas wishlist ;)

Hi Everyone,

Here a mani I did earlier, I believe it was for a challenge in AIS. It was to make your Christmas wishes on your nails. Well my true wish just isn't possible, but polishes and plates are always a nice present. So I stamped all kinds of polish and plate brands and made a Christmas tree out of polishes.

Base Sinful Colors Black on Black and Snow me White. Stamped the polish brands with FUN12 and used a Konad, Winstonia, Nailways, Essence, FUN and MJ plate for their logo's. Made a polish tree with the nailpolish bottles on FUN 12.  Stamped using Konad polishes.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Ripped open Zebra

Hi Everyone,

I know Halloween is past but I still have a couple of mani's to show you. This one was for the Bundle Monster challenge and the theme was claws. I did not had any BM plates with claws on it so I had to think of something else. A sharp claw ripped open this poor Zebra.

Base Sinful Colors Snow me White, stamped the zebra image from BM06 (stamped it twice horizontal) with Konad SN black and used the zombie squish technique on my ring finger.

And another picture.

This was so fun to do :) I like thinking outside the box a little.

Mummies...creative with toilet paper :P

Hi Everyone,

This was my mani for the BM challenge day 21 and the theme was Mummies. I did not have a real mummy looking image so I had to improvise ;) and I was creative with toilet paper.

Base Sinful Colors Black on Black. Used the balls of yarn image (well I think it supposed to be that) from BM206 to make mummy heads haha and added eyes with a dotting tool. And on my ring finger I've been creative with pieces of toilet paper and also a dotting tool

And another picture of my hand.

I so loved doing this mani...might be my favorite I've done. It was just so fun playing with the toilet paper haha.

A green Bundle Monster Goblin ;)

Hi everyone,

Today again a Halloween mani that I did for the Bundle Monster challenge. The theme that day was "Goblins". So I had to be creative since I don't really have a plate with Goblins on it. I decided to make the Bundle Monster' Monster as a Goblin. So I drew him Goblin ears haha and I added lots of green Goblin slime.

Sinful colors Snow me white made a stamping decal of the monster and drew him goblin ears (smudged the decal a little) using BM409 and stamped green slime with Konad PSN apple green and BM405.

I messed up the decal a little and also the stamping isn't perfect..but slime and Goblins aren't perfect either ;)

Born Pretty Store: Flowers that glow in the dark

Hi Everyone,

A few weeks ago I showed you some stuff I got from Born Pretty Store, I then did a mani with holo polish and plate QA86. Today I have a mani made with QA89 to show you :) And I also used their glow in the dark polishes to color the image.

Base Sinful Colors Snow me White, stamped with Born Pretty Store QA89 and Konad black. Colored the images with glow in the dark polish from BK (pink, green, purple and yellow). So fun these glow in the dark :)

And another picture.

Here just the black stamps on the white base before coloring them.

I really like how detailed these flowers are. Both the QA plates stamp really well :) I'll be using this plate for another mani for sure.

Summer water marble and stamping

Hi Everyone,

In one of the facebook stamping groups we have this game called Tag You're It. Someone can tag you and give you a personal challenge. Then after you finished you have to tag another person and give her/him a challenge. Now I was tagged to do a stamping mani over a watermarbled base of atleast 3 colors. I really don't like to marble, I just ain't good at it and the water here isn't great for it too. So this was I real challenge for me.

But I did my best (that the weather here is pretty warm wasn't helping either) and I did 2 nails, yes 2 nails ;) The rest I just painted and stamped to match the rest.

Colors used China Glaze That's Shore Bright, China Glaze Too Yacht Too Handle and Icecream polish pink over Sinful Colors Snow me White. Stamped with FUN2 the white flowers and added some dots with a dotting tool.

Here a picture of just the base.

At the end I did kinda liked this mani. The water marble was pretty simple not like a pretty flower design, but this was all I could do ;)
