Well, it's one for the money, Two for the show, Three to get ready....

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for not blogging for a while. I've been busy and I am sick too. But I have been posting on my fb page and on instagram.

Even though I am sick I had to do the TAG you are it challenge for a Facebook group I only had a week that was almost over ;) I had 3 choices and combined 2 of them so I chose vintage/grunge style and inspired by an old song :)

"Well, it's one for the money,

Two for the show,
Three to get ready,
Now go, cat, go.

But don't you step on my blue suede shoes.
You can do anything but lay off of my Blue suede shoes."

Base Essence 33 Wilde White Ways and Flormar 47 on ring finger. Added blue flocking powder on my ringfinger to make it look like like a suede shoe haha it sure feels soft ;) Stamped the "shoelace" with parts of Konad M7 and Bundle Monster BM420. Used a grey, white, light blue and darker blue to make the vintage/grunge distressed look. Stamped with BP-47 the music notes, Elvis is from MyOnline Shop MJ XXII and the shoe prints are from Nailways Snowwhite - Traces.  Used Konad stamping polishes and made it all matte with China Glaze Magic matte.

And here the glossy picture.

And the grunge/vintage/distressed base. Later added a little dark blue brush strokes.

I did this really quick but I am pretty happy with how these turned out. It was a fun mani to do and great theme. I still have many more mani's to show you all :)

Thanks for reading.

Soft Kitty on a flocking powder gradient

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for not blogging for a while but I really felt bad, feel a bit better now. So I did my nails today. Jen's nails files had a great and fun contest on her page, you had to do a mani inspired by the name of a Darling Diva polish. I am not in the US so I thought I could not enter, but to have a US address was fine too, and I have some US nail friends. So I decided to enter anyway also for the fun, cause when I was searching DDP names I had sooo many ideas, I decided to chose "Soft Kitty" for my mani.

So here are my Soft Kitty nails, I made Kitty really feel soft by stamping here over my flocking powder /velvet gradient. Making a flocking powder gradient was something new for me too, but it was fun to do. The rest of my nails have a trail of kitty paws or bigger kitty paws on them.

3 colors of flocking powder (light pink, lilac, purple) for my flocking powder gradient on my ring finger, 3 colors for my holo gradient on the rest (Catherine Arley 670, China Glaze IDK, Catherine Arley 673) stamped with Konad SN black and GCOCL A02, Essence plate and HB37).

Another picture of my hand.

And some pics of the holo and flocking powder gradient.

I love how soft flocking powder feels :)

Here the polishes and flocking powder I've used for this mani.

Fuzzy Chicks

Hi Everyone,

These were my real Easter nails, I know they are very simply but I had promised my sister to make fuzzy chicks :) She wanted to pet them (was curious how flocking powder felt like). And I don't like flocking powder on all my nails so I deciced to make an accent nail and keep the rest simple.

Base a gradient with Catherine Arley 801 and 806, added flocking powder on my ring finger, made the face with a dotting tool using Konad SN polishes and stamped his hair with Konad M29 (part of the pineapple).

And another picture.
Thanks for reading :)

Something really quick and some ideas :)

Hi everyone,

I've been really sick 2 weeks ago, and last week I went on a short holiday to Center Parcs in Belgium. I was so sick that I was afraid I would not be able to go, but luckily that turned out okay. So sorry for not blogging for a a while.

Here is something I did 2 weeks ago when I had a little workshop again :) Some girls wanted to learn new things, so I showed them all the new things I've learned from fellow stamping/ nail addicts :)

Thumb: a gradient with a make up sponge. And 2 times stamping, first in pastel green then colored the image with that same color and stamped the same image again in metallic pink. With Nailways Spring Time -Easter Bunny A-NW00006 plate ;)

Index: using striping tape, sponging over it with a more coarse Konad sponge and removing the tape again and a Konad flower..

Middle vinger: a baby chicken ;) using flocking powder (but when I took the pic half of it was gone because it was done really quick with too little topcoat underneath) The face made with a dotting tool, the hair is stamped (part of the Konad pineapple image)

Ring finger: saran wrap technique with 2 colors.

Pinkie: a stamping decal Konad M1, coloring him on the stamper, then a layer of topcoat and peel it off. And put it on the nail, I smudged it a bit. But like I said it was done really quick just to show those girls how it was done :) On Messy Mansion is a great tutorial of stamping decals :)

I had so much fun that day, later I took most of it off and did saran wrap on all of them to cover the bald spots…had do it sooo fast cause had to go, but I thought can’t go out with these 5 different nails :P

The Saran wrap with China Glaze Lemon Fizz and a brght pink color from 2True. And a Kleancolor metallic black stamp from Konad M22.

The Saran wrap base.

Both together.

Last week I had skittle Easter nails and toes, I will show those tomorrow.

Have a nice weekend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day 3x

Hi Everyone,

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you who celebrate. The challenge today in AIS was based on this Irish Holiday so I made St. Patrick's Day nails. I did them 3 times different, so it actually are 3 new mani's ;)

All 3 looks from my left hand.

First I only stamped them all. The base is Risqué Menta (a polish from Brazil). Stamped with Konad SN moss green and imageplateNailways A-NW00005 Spring Time - Flowers.

Second I added the green grass (or should I say the green flocking powder ;)) It was my first time using this..it feels so soft and funny :)

And third I stamped the shamrock over the flocking powder again. Used Konad PSN apple green but that wasn't showing really well so I mixed it with white and stamped over it again as you can see :)

Of course I also did my left hand and took pics of that with my short little middle finger nail :P

And all the 3 mani's from left hand.
All stamped.

My whole hand with only stamping.

 With flocking powder.

With flocking powder and stamping over it.

Also some swatches of Risqué Menta from both my hands.

And all 3 manis from left and right together.

Again Happy St. Patrick's Day and enjoy your Sunday!
