Valentines Day 2016: Love is in the Air

Hi Everyone,

Here another Valentines Day mani I did this week for a contest from Messy Mansion on IG.

Base Catherine Arley stamped with BPS black, BPS dark/wine red, MdU 25 and 55. Plates are Messy Mansion MM03 (love couple, words and hearts) and MM24 (fulll nail writing). Again inspired by a mani I've done in 2014.

Nani the dog nails with MoYou Nails 405 and 408

Hi Everbody,

Remember in my review about the new MoYou Nails Square plates I showed you these doggy nails and I promised to write a blog post about it too. They/we are still so busy at home with the new bathroom and everything got delayed again :( I have been doing my nails, just not as often. 

But I did these nails about 2 weeks ago when we went to pick up our adoption doggy Nani.

Base a gradient with  China Glaze Tickle my Triangle and How About a Tumble, stamped the paw prints from MoYou Nails 405 using Konad and MdU polish. The puppy is from 408. The letters come from Nailways Back to Basics - 123ABC.

Nani is 11 months old and from Spain, she was dumped as a small pup in the fields to die :( But since August she was in a Spanish shelter and November 8th she arrived here in Holland and stayed with a foster mom. We decided to adopt her. We already showed interest in her when we saw her "adopt me" poster on facebook and we filled in the application.  They liked us and we were allowed to contact her foster mom. When we called we heard she ran away in the forest when she was with her foster mom and got scared from 2 bigger dogs. So the next day we helped search for her. And I was the one who actually found her.

 Her first night with us and she met her "niece" Yoshi the red wired hair Dachshund.

This were my nails for good luck when we helped searching for her. And you see me with her when we just found her. Then it was not even sure we would be her adoption parents but who could resist that cute little face. I was so happy we found her. 

Base is Essence Happy Girls are Pretty LE 02 Happy Girls Rock. Stamped the paws with HB 37 and the dog is from MoYou Nails 66.

We are so happy to have this sweet little girl with us.

Halloween 2015: Bones and Skulls

Hi Everyone,

Here another Halloween mani I did for the Bundle Monster challenge. I am trying to catch up with their challenge and ofcourse rocking my new shorties ;)

Base I made a sort of radial gradient base with NailNation3000 Awesome Sauce and Color Club Revvvolution. Stamped with BM225 and on my ring finger with Konad M28.

Halloween 2015: Ghosts

Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted for a while since I was on vacation for a few weeks. And when we came back I busy dealing with stuff at home, not so fun stuff (loosing 2 pets).

But I'll promise to post more and if you follow me on instagram you can see a lot of posts there :)

The last day of my vacation I broke my nail from my middle finger, so I decided to make them all short (not as short cause that is a little sore) but as short as they can without bleeding or hurting ;)

Meet my new shorties.

A gradient base with China Glaze When Stars Collide and Catherine Arley 806, shadow stamped the ghosts and bats with Konad white and black and also mirror stamped one ghost using BM213 and BM223. Colored the eyes with MdU Avocado.

Here also a picture of just the gradient...it looked more orange in real life.

Some pictures like these I took with my phone instead of camera so you might see different kinds of watermarks ;)

Parrot Polish with lace stamping from my first Marianne nails plate

Hi everyone,

I recently got my first Marianne nails plates so ofcourse I had to try them out. I love trying new stamping brands. I also had one of my untrieds Parrot Polishes so it was time to use that pretty one too.

I did not wanted to cover up a lot of this pretty polish so I used this amazing lace stamp that still shows a lot of the base.

 Parrot Polish Anne Cormac a beautiful duochorome or maybe even multi chrome holographic polish. Stamped with Konad SN black and Marianne Nails no 27.

Also a swatch of this gorgeous polish.

It is such a pretty polish..I am in love.

Holo roses

Hi Everyone,

Here a mani I've done a few weeks ago. I just took some quick phone pictures. I wanted to use the special FUN-WON plate again and my OPI mini sheer tints I got a few months ago from my sweet friend from the US.

Base Color Club Harp on it. Stamped with the roses from the FUN-WON plate and colored them with the OPI mini sheer tints.

Also did a matching pedi.

For the smaller toes I just used the inside part of the rose stamp.

Greece Kos week 2: seashells

Hi Everyone,

Today a mani I've done on holiday in Greece in 2011. Yes 2011 haha :P I still have so many mani's to post. But I always forget about my holiday nails, because there aren't in my nail album.

I took many pictures with the beautiful scenery backgrounds, so won't type much just enjoy the pictures.

Base Risque Cintura Baixa stamped with Konad White and HB46, topcoat made it pink. Also used INM Nothern Lights gold.

Happy Mother's Day in Heaven

Hi Everyone,

Here my mani from this weekend. I hope you all had a great Mother's Day. On these days I miss my mom even more but I always like to do something to honor her.

Randomly painted 3 holo's from Catrice cosmetics (blueish, silver and greenish blue) stamped the clouds from Bundle Monster BM312, the wings made from parts of BM314 and made the halo from BM411, the words Happy Mother's Day are from Born Pretty BP-70.

Freehand: Beach scenery

Hi Everyone,

Here my 3rd attempt at a freehand mani...a Sunset beach scenery. With islands, palm trees, dolphins, a hammock, a boat etc. I did these about 3 months ago.

For the gradient base I used a blue, yellow, orange, pink and purple holo from Teeez and Catherine Arley. And painted with acrylic paint.

And here the gradient base.

For these kind of sceneries I'll stick to stamping  lol...a bit of fail with the messy palm trees and all, but I did like the base ;)

Spring time...doggies in love

Hi Everyone,

Today a mani I've done a few weeks ago. It was one of my 2 entries in a Spring themed contest. They picked 5 finalist, this mani wasn't one of them, but my other entry was.

A subtle green/yellow gradient with Lime Crime Pastelchio and Lime Crime Crema de Limon. On top INM Nothern lights topcoat. Stamped the flowers with Konad PSN neon green and MoYou 216, the doggies in love are from MoYou 66, I made stamping decals of those and mirror stamped one doggy from stamper to stamper before coloring it. The heart is dotted with a dotting tool.

Enchanting Fairytales

Hi Everyone,

I did this mani for a guest blog over at The Beauty Of Nail Polish. You can read the full post there :) I was really honored when Tara invited me.

I did a Fairytale mani a few years ago using Moyou plates. And this mani is inspired by that one,  I really wanted to do another one with Nailways Darker Period – Fairy Tales plate.

For the base I did a gradient with Lime Crime Once in a Blue Mousse, Lime Crime Lavendairy and China Glaze Neon & On & On. On top I did Catrice C08 Have an ice day topcoat for the holo sparkles. I stamped the images from Nailways Darker Period – Fairy Tales plate using Konad black. And the yellow stars are from Konad M34 using Konad pastel yellow. The white stars are from Konad M3 using Born Pretty stamping polish white. Painted the black near my cuticles and the door and path to the castle.

Looking at my nails I really want to go to Disneyland….I have never been there and it is one of my dreams.

Happy St. Patricks Day

Hey Everyone,

Here my St. Patricks Day mani for this year. I recently got this Nailz Craze plate from a blog sale and ofcourse I had to use it :)

Gradient with DA magical, 10.1 PolishEvergreen and 10.1 Polish Reservations. Stamped with Konad SN Moss green and used Konad SN Green for coloring. All images are from Nailz Craze NC01 plate.

A Romance in Paris

Hi everyone,

I did this mani a few weeks ago it is a combination of stamping and freehand.

Base Color Club Worth the Risque, Color Club Fashion Addict and Nubar Absolute. Stamped the lanterns with Fab Ur Nails FUN15, the love couple is from MM03, the eiffel Tower is from Bundle Monster BM419 (used the shrinking method), the trees and love birds are from Emily de Molly EDM07. I freehanded the bridge fences, the little cat on the fence, the red hearts and the bench.

Chinese New Year...the year of the goat

Hi Everyone,

Here is one of my Chinese New Year mani's. Just a short post today, did not took much pictures or made swatches cause I already swatched this once..

Base China Glaze Long Kiss, stamped the cherry blossom with black and Vivid Lacquer VL-022 and dotted the white flowers over the black and added holo gold in the middle. The "goat " is from Konad M34 and the numbers are from Nailways Back to Basics -123ABC

Hearts that glow

Hi Everyone,

I received my first Parrot Polish polishes I won them in a giveway on IG. Ofcourse I had to play with them. I was allowed to choose 3 polishes and also received a mini and 2 homemade soaps...so sweet :) The polishes are soo pretty and I love the packaging too.

Base Parrot Polish Queen Teuta Of Illyria stamped with Essence stampy white and BM425 and BM-H16 and added Parrot Polish Glow Purple topcoat.

Here my new goodies.

 And some swatches of this beautiful holo polish that switches from blue to purple.

Colorful Hearts

Hi Everyone,

Here another Valentine's Day mani I did earlier. Just a short post for today.

 Base Nfu Oh 61 a silver holo on top some blobs of 10.1 Polish Scarlet, Evergeen, Ocean Mist, New Skyline and New Moon. Stamped with Messy Mansion MM03.
