Stamped the devil from BM305, the spiderweb on the tips of my pinkie and middle finger from BM13, also from BM13 the cross, the skull is from BM-H07, the sort of creepy trees from BM224 and also the house from that plate, the pumpkins from BM-H06 and the bats from BM-H08. Holo gradient with Halloween ST02 plate

Hi Everyone,

Ofcoure I had to do a mani with my favorite Halloween plate too. I know most of my mani's now I used Bundle Monster plates because of their challenge. But Stampaholics ST02 is such a wonderful Halloween plate..I love everything on this plate. Remember last year I did quite a few mani's with this plate see here. You can also read and see more info in those blogposts.

I used Stampaholics ST02 and Essence stampy black (love it that it is matte) over a gradient holo base with Catrice ApHolo 7, Nubar Absolute and Color Club Revvvolution.

Here a picture of the gradient base.

Scary zombies

Hi Everyone,

Today another Halloween mani I've made this week. I really did a lot of Halloween mani's this week. This was for the Bundle Monster challenge and the theme that day was zombies .As you all know I like being creative with stamps too and use parts of image to create something new. I also did this here too and I also used a little freehand.

China Glaze FYI holo base stamped with BM-H06 the eyes (first stamped in red and colored them red and stamped over it with white), the teeth (first stamped in black then stamped over it in white) and the blood. BM-H08 for the zombie hands and BM411 for the stitches (used parts of it). And a little freehand for the nose and mouth on my thumb.

I only have one pic to show, I already swatched this polish some years ago so no swatches.

Have a nice weekend!

Thanks for reading :)

Born Pretty Store purple holo and hearts

Hi Everyone,

Today I have some pretty stuff from the Born Pretty Store to show you. I got some pretty plates and a lovely holo polish. As you all know I love holographic polishes. And these polishes form BPS are sooo pretty, too bad the bottles are so small ;) The 2 plates are also very nice and stamp well.

First I'll show you the mani I made with it. It kinda reminded me of a Valentines mani :)

Base Born Pretty Store holographic polish no 11, a lovely purple holo. stamped the hearts with Konad SN pastel blue, pastel pink and pastel violet using BPS plate QA86.

And some more pics of the mani.

Here the stuff I got:

I already had 3 of their holo polishes and now I have 4, I really wish I had them all. I really like them <3

They also have some really great plates and the quality is good too, no problems at all. Nice clean crisp images.

I now used QA86 but will use QA89 soon too.

And some swatches of the purple holographic 11 polish. I love it.

Next to the lovely holo polishes they have much more nail polish and nail art decorations.

You can use the code KONG10 for 10% off all non sale products.

The Great Polish Giveaway of 2014

Hi Everyone,

Nail Polish Canada is hosting The Great Polish Giveaway of 2014 They've partnered with Cirque Colors, NCLA & Picture Polish to host the biggest giveaway ever.  One winner will take home up to 200 nail polish from over 10 different brands! The prize starts at zero, then bloggers can each pick a favourite shade to be added to the prize.  You can enter on their website. And you can also enter once on each blog that adds a shade to the prize.

The prize is currently 186 shades.

I chose to add Nfu Oh 63

I love holo polishes and Nfu Oh 63 was one of my first holographic polishes. I also really love these bottles. Ofcourse I have some swatches for you of this beautiful polish. The holo rainbow effect is really strong especially in the sun or under artificial light.

Also my mani with nail art I posted these before a few years ago but here it is again. Done with stamping and the flowers are selfmade water decals.

Like I said you can enter on their website but for more entries you can also enter here. I don't have twitter so this is the twitter account from Nail Polish Canada. But like me on facebook for an extra entry. And make sure to check out all the polishes and enter on other blogs too.

a Rafflecopter giveaway
I am not really sure if this is only for US/Canadian residents or for US/Canadian addresses. The last option would mean that if an international person will win they have to provide an US/Canadian address, but most of us nail addicts have friends world wide so that shouldn't be a problem. I asked NPC so if I know the exact anwser I'll let you know.

EDIT: it is only for US/Canadian residents so sorry for everyone who doesn't live in the US or Canada

Have a nice weekend and good luck!

MoYou Nails review: Dinosaur nails

Hi Everyone,

Today I'll show you a mani made with MoYou Nails plates. Or should I say the "other" MoYou with the round plates, also known as OMG nails :)

These 2 plates are my first MoYou nails plates, I have to say I was happily suprised... the quailty of the plates is amazing. I really love the perfect backing, no sharp edges (they reminded me of Konad plates when I look at qualilty and that is a good thing :) ) And they stamp really well too. I had no problems at all. The full nail images are a little narrow/small, 1,8 cm by 1 cm. So the lenght is okay but 1 cm in width might be too small for many people. Luckily my nails are not so width so I could use them as a full nail stamp. But I always find other ways to use them too, like a diagonal sort of french tip stamp or a normal french tip. See pictures below. First lets show the final mani I've made with these plates.

Base is China Glaze OMG A UFO, stamped the full nails and the diagonal french with Konad moss green and MoYou 216. The dinosaurs are from MoYou 66 stamped with Konad black.

Here another picture with different lighting.

And here you can see just the full nail image. As you can see even though it is narrow it still fits my nails (maybe not my middle finger and thumb they are a little wider). You can also see how I used it as sort of a diagonal french tip stamp on the other fingers. I like using stamps in another ways to make them work :) Or use just part of an image.
The full nail image reminded me of animal skin so I thought it went well with the dinosaurs on top.

Here also some swatches of the greenish holo base polish.

I really liked this polish it's an unique color.

MoYou nails send me 2 plates 66 and 216 (my choice) and as you know I prefer single images more then full nail images, but I thought it would be nice to show you 2 different plates from them. So I chose a plate with single images and one with full nail images (also great for layering) to have more options and show you different kind of mani's.
I also received their stamper and plastic scraper. The stamper stamps great and needed no buffing. I know many people love squishy stampers but my favorite is still the Konad double ended stamper. And this stamper reminded me of that stamper. I like a little firm stamper for good placement. For stamping full nails a more softer stamper sometimes is easier, but still I did not had any problems with it. You just have to roll the image from left to right (or the other way around ;) ) I have tried several plastic scrapers but I always still love my metal scrapers. Though for a plastic scraper this one really wasn't bad :) (maybe my favorite plastic one). But that is just all personal preferences. I guess after so many years I am just used to my metal ones despite the fact they leave small scratches on the plates.

In the catalogue you can see all their plates and the sets they sell. It's fun to have so I can easily watch all the images. And I'v read they will release some more plates soon. Make sure to check out their facebook page too for any news/updates.

Here also a pictures of the 2 plates.

I already have a few other ideas for these plates, so expect some more mani's from me with these soon too ;) (I really love the Dachshund since my sister has one).

I don't have instagram or twitter but I thought lets share MoYou's instagram and twitter account for those of you who do have that ;)

*Even though I received these plates for a review I doesn't affect my opinion.

Thank you so much for reading.

Have a nice weekend!

Terschelling, World Cup and Oerol festival

Hi Everyone,

As many of you know I love going to Terschelling, one of the Dutch Wadden Island. I love the nature and feeling there, it always feels like home when I am there. We used to go there when we were little too. Every in June there is the Oerol festival there, this means music, theater, plays etc. There are sooo many people on the island and and it is always fun. This year we are also there and just like other years I wanted to do a Terschelling scenery but the World Cup is also now and I also always love to do something for that too....so I combined those things...

Terschelling is turning orange for the World Cup during the Oerol festival...with soccer balls all over the island and a beautiful orange sunset sky ;)

Holo base using many holo's from Golden Rose Paris, DA, Catherine Arley, Nail Nation. Self made water decals of the seagull on the pole, the seals, seagull, the lighthouse Brandaris, the flag from Terschelling, the Oerol logo, the boat. Painted the back white on some decals to make them pop. And stamped the soccer balls from Moyou Tourist 14 and Konad M49 first in white then colored them and stamped over the in black, stamped the green grass from Konad M66 and M29, and the flying seagulls are from Stampaholis ST01. Using Konad SN black, green and white.

Another picture with different light.

Also did a pedi ofcourse. Base Impala Tech with Hits Demeter (both Brazilian brands so hopefully they will bring us luck in Brazil ;)) The soccer balls from Konad M49 and self made water decals from the Terschelling flag and Oerol logo.

And my hand with my toes together. A bumped my toe while it was still wet so the ball is not round anymore haha, tried to fix it.

I usually also post some pictures of our vacation there. But I will do that in another post since I planned this post, and I haven't been on the computer since my vacation so those pictures aren't on the computer yet.

Thanks for reading.

Spring Blossom and Butterflies

Hi Everyone,

The theme last Sunday in AIS was Spring, so ofcourse I wanted to participate. I decided to use some holo's from  Catrice to make a gradient base. I really like the Catrice holo's, the holo effect isn't that strong but I like how subtle it is. Too bad all their holo's are always limited editions.

Gradient with Catrice Luxury Lacquers Holomania: C04 Plum Me Up Scotty, C02 Apholo 7 and C03 Holo In One. Stamped with Moyou Suki 08 and Konad SN black, colored over the images with Konad SN white, SN pastel blue, SN pastel pink, SN pastel violet.

And a picture of both my hands :)

Also made some pics of just the gradient base. I really was happy with this gradient.

Lol it is hard to hold 3 bottles ;)

This mani kinda reminded me of this one also used the same sort of colors and branches with flower/blossom :)

Thanks for reading.

Hits Mari Moon So Unique with simple nail art

Hi Everyone,

Today someday I did a few months ago, but still haven't blogged about it. I had this polish for a while but never used it, don't know why, cause I love it. Maybe I was afraid to use it cause it is such a small bottle ;) I did some simple stamping on it.

Base Hits Mari Moon holografico So Unique, stamped with Color Club Worth the Risque and Winstonia W112. Stamped the flower from Winstonia W104 and a self made stamping polish.

And another picture with my thumb.

And some swatches of this pretty polish.

Thanks for reading! (watching cause I haven't typed much lol).
