Some new stash pics + 5 colors pastel sponge nails

This is something I've made in february 2010 and could also have been something you could have on your nails with Easter. It's very spring to me because of the pastel colors :)

Sponged with Konad SN pastel yellow, pastel green, pastel blue, pastel violet and pastel pink. Not all together on 1 sponge but I sponged one by one. When it was still wet I added some rainbow glitter. Stamped the dragonflies with Konad SN black and M5. On my ring finger a pastel green pearl stone.

Here some pictures of just the 5 colored base.

At the end of the summer I got a new glass showcage from my sister, she could not keep it when she moved back home so I got it for my polishes. A few weeks ago I finally hung it up the wall and redecorated my nail room :)

You all probably know my wall display my dad made me for my birthday last year.

And in my other showcages my Konad stamping polishes and some other polishes and nail art stuff.

All kinds of Easter creations together from 2009, 2010 and 2011

Today I'll show you some really old Easter creations and the ones from last year and the year before (but those I've already posted on my blog ;)) But I thought it might be nice to seen them all in one post :)

Ofcourse I will make a new Easter creation for this year, but I will post that one later this week.

These first 2 creations I made in 2009, I don't exactly know what I have used any more.

The first one reminded me of colorfull eggs, I sponged the base with all kinds of Konad SN polishes mixed together.

Stamped some flowers with M35 and PSN gold black and a blue rhinestone on my middle finger.

Just the sponged base with glitter.

Also made this one in 2009, first polished with a purple/lilac nail polish and sponged some sort of yellow Easter egg tips on it :P

And stamped some flower with Konad SN violet pearl and M25 and 3 yellow rhinestones on my ring finger.
It says Vrolijk Pasen which means Happy Easter in Dutch.

This was my Easter creation of 2010 with decals of Thumper in a egg and Vrolijk Pasen.

These 3 creations you have seen last year 2011 when I broke my nail on my middle finger a few weeks before.

First a pre-Easter creation...

Somehow I found this also Easter like and I made it last year not long before Easter: http://dutch-diana.blogspot.com/2011/04/butterflies-in-sky-p2-530-charming.html

Second some pastel yellow Easter Eggs.
What I've used you can read here: http://dutch-diana.blogspot.com/2011/04/easter-eggs.html

Ands  third my nails that I actually had with Easter in 2011.

Somehow I always find a spring landscape also very nice for Easter. I made these in 2011.
Right hand

In 2010 I also made my first spring landscape nails, first I tested it on this huge nail tip hahaha. I was affraid it could never fit on my own nails ;)
But luckily I managed to make it fit on my smaller nails too :)
This was my first creation that I blogged about as a guest blog of my friend Michelle from Passion for Nails. A year later I also wrote about on my own blog what I have used for this creation you can read here: http://dutch-diana.blogspot.com/2011/06/landscape-sping-nails-from-2010.html

With these kind of landscape creation you can also add an Easter egg in the grass or something to make it really Easter like ;) I did this on one nail of Tanja a nail friend of mine, Originally the rest of the nails were blue with clouds but I don't have a picture of that anymore. She liked her ring finger so much that she kept that design and only changed the rest :) The bee is a decal made by me.

My Easter creation of this year is in the making and I will post that this weekend :)

Centerparcs 2012

Last week my boyfriend and I went to a Centerparcs park here in Holland. Although I was still very snotty we had fun. No I'm feeling even sicker but hopefully I will get better. The weather was really nice and warm for this time of year. We went swimming every day, visited the marina and some villages. Had a lovely breakfast in the restaurant every morning that was included in the price :)

Ofcourse I wanted to make theme nails again, and the printer was/is still broken but luckily I still had some water decals from last year ;)

Base Catherine Arley 801, stamped with Konad SN green and XL plate F. And a selfmade water decals of the Centerparcs logo on my ring finger.

I also wanted some matching toes again :)

Here some swacthes of Catherine Arley 801 (a lime yelllow holo):

Have a nice day.....the sun is still shining here :)

Landscape: ♥ my new spring/summer nails 2011 ♥

Today I finally show you my new spring/summer landscape nails from this year. I made them this weekend. And personally really like them, can't stop looking at my nails. Especially when it's raining outside, they just make me happy :)

(You can click on the photo to enlarge it)
Base Essence 05 Speed of light blue from the You Rock Limited Edition, Golden Rose holographic color 115 for the green and Nubar Absolute for the blue. For the water I used the same colors first the Essence one and then a coat of Nubar.

Imageplates: C01 (Konad Coraline) for the sun, S2 part of the palm tree for some grass, M23 for the red flowers and leafs, M66 for some plants and grass, M79 for the clouds, HB32 for the small flowers and butterfly and HB34 for the flamingos, swan, frog, dragonfly and birds.

For stamping I used all Konad SN or PSN polishes: pop green, olive green, green, violet pearl, blue pearl, psyche pink, pink pearl, yellow, white, cool red and pastel orange.

I also used some Essence nail art pens and a dotting tool to add some details like the flamingos beak and feet, the swan eyes and beak and the middle of the flowers.

Some people asked me if my right hand would look the same as my left, so here a photo of my right hand ;)

This weekend my nails and I ;) visited Giuditta place. She had just received her nail polish wall displays/racks and did not had any tools/supplies to hang them up on her wall. So I immediately asked my dad if he had any screws for me and if I could borrow his tools....and there I went to the railway station to get on the train with everything. It was soooo hot that day luckily Giuditta picked me up at the station with her bike so all the heavy stuff could go in het bicycle bags. It was a long walk to her home but in the mean time we had a lot of time to chat and visit some stores :)

We had so much fun that day, especially when I was saying/grumbling that my dad gave me the smallest screwdrivers I had ever seen and he probably thought.."Oh women have small hands or something" and after we were done I found the handle where I supposed had click them in.....hahaha I felt sooo stupid and dumb. Another hilarious thing was when we were rearranging her nail polishes by brand and color she said... "Oh those two really look a like" and then she picked them up and looked at the bottom and saw a big surprise....THEY WERE THE SAME ;)  and both of them she bought recently. She gave one bottle to me, as a thank you gift a long with some decals she received that day, for helping that day.....thank you so much ♥
Here you can see my new friend (Color Club Total Mystery) going to his new home in the train ;) with some typical grass landscape behind it through the window. Also added the decals to the photo. Once again thanks Giuditta for that day, I really needed that.

If you want to see Giuditta' stash and read more you can visit her blog here:
http://giudittasnailsandbeauty.blogspot.com/2011/06/something-personal-my-stash-part-2.html
There also is this hilarious/ridiculous photoshopped photo of me there, don't look at that please ;)

I'm really happy with this creation and don't want to remove it, but friday I have it on my nails for a week and then I won't be able to do my nails again untill tuesday, I don't think they will survive that long :( So I think I do have to say goodbye to them friday ;)

Landscape: spring nails from 2010

I love to make landscape/scenery nails :) That can be all kinds of landscapes: winter, summer, spring, under water etc. Today I made some summer/spring landscape nails (I'll show them after the weekend) I thought it would be fun to show my older spring landscape nails first. I made this in March 2010 I did not had a blog back then. I did wrote a guest blog on my nail friend Michelle's blog: Passion for Nails.

I stamped the base with Konad SN polishes (apple green, pastel blue, white, sky blue) while it was still wet I added some green and blue rainbow glitter on top. I stamped with imageplates C01 (Konad Coraline), M79, M66, M36 and M23 and different kinds of Konad SN polishes (white, pop green, jungle green, psyche pink, violet pearl, pastel pink, yellow).

Here a photo of just the sponge base.

I first made this idea on a huge nail tip.

I did not had any idea of I could make this fit on my own nails, I knew my nails were long but not that long or big. You can see the difference in size below ;)

Here another photo with some different light.

I'm sorry for not blogging and commenting on your blogs that much lately, last week I was on my short holiday and this week I received some bad news about my mother so my mind wasn't really in to that.

Have a nice weekend!

I'm back from Centerparcs

I'm back from our short break to Centerparcs Heijderbos in Holland, near the German border. We had a great time there, the weather was really nice :) We also went on our bike to Germany the look for the Essence holographic collection but too bad I couldn't find it there :( Most of the time we spent in the swimming pool, walking/biking, shopping or in the Jungle Dome. The Jungle Dome is this great indoors tropical playing jungle for kids (well as an adult you can have fun too ;)) with all kinds of animals living there. It's sponsered by the WWF. This blog post I'll show you some photo's of our short break, most of them or from the animals because I just love animals :) You can click on all photos to enlarge them.

My Centerparcs nails from my previous blog on the photo with my new friend the Toucan. He was soooo sweet we visited him everyday to pet him ♥

My boyfriend and I in front of the Centerparcs sign/logo.

Me in front of our apartment door, me walking back to the apartments in the Market Dome and we playing a game of pool :)

My boyfriend and I next to the pool table in front of the House of Games.

Like I said I'm an animal lover, so ofcourse we also visited the "childrens" petting zoo :)

A gorgeous peacock, me and the rest of my family (I see no difference I totally blend in haha), a hugeeee bunny and some little ones and this cute donkey.

There were a lot of baby goats soooo sweet :)

Some turkeys those animals are ugly and funny :)

One of the best things from Centerparcs are their subtropical swimming pools. We spent quite a few hours there each day.
Acting crazy under water (you can dive there with some goggles and watch the aquariums under water, on the other side you can see the aquariums normal so we had to take some pictures), my boyfriend on the big slide and me in the main wave pool.

Also very famous are the wild water rapids (courses), here you can see me go :) (yes my nails survived the entire week well ;))

I already told you about the Jungle Dome here a lot of pictures from it, it was one of my favourite places to go, but it was really hot in there....you really got the idea like you were in a tropical rain forest.

Some of the animals there, gorgeous birds, big fishes, some kind of small deer and really pretty ducks (this one was hatching some eggs as you can see).

My boyfriend and I in the Jungle dome, he in a cave, me climbing some rocks and holding a sign which says DON'T FEED in Dutch and German...lol we are crazy I know ;)

There were also many pretty birds flying there.

Having fun at the rope bridges, like I said also fun for adults :)

They also let it rain inside, to make the environment realistic for the animals who live there. A real tropical rainforest.

Me sitting in a monkey chair and on this throne of the inhabitants of the rainforest.

Some flamingos and other birds.

Every morning around 10:30 it was feeding time :) Here you can see my friend the Toucan a parrot and this adorable some sort of squirrel, he walked really funny and was soo cute to watch him eat and drink ♥

I really liked the Toucan he was just tooo sweet and so soft, and as you can see he liked to be petted he closed his eyes like he was really enjoying it.

The Toucan was really tame and sat on the most crowded places, everyone petted him also children. Here is my boyfriend petting him.

Just a photo of my new friend ♥

And ofcoure I had to pet him myself too....he was soooo soft :)

Next blog will be about nails again ;)

Edit: nobody of the Centerparcs staff noticed my Centerparcs nails and I'm not the kind of person that goes showing them to everyone so I had no comments on my nails ;)
