Sorry for being MIA for months + some random mani's

Hi Everyone,

Not sure how many of you still follow my blog since I've neglected it for months. In february I became very sick for at least 8 weeks and later I just did not feel like blogging. Won't bore you with the long long story ;) You can read more about on my fb page and IG. I have been posting on FB and IG lately. But I'll promise to blog regular too now.

I have lot's of mani's that I haven't show her also even Christmas and Easter ones, but won't share those now.

Here just some mani's I did the last few months.

Sponged a radial gradient with MdU neon blue, neon green and neon yellow over a silver base, stamped with Konad black and MJ XXV (tester plate).

Base Color Club What a Drag stamped with BP-L015 and MdU Neon blue and added light and dark blue rhinestones.

Red and gold challenge for #whencolourscollide ...could not photograph (not with camera or phone) somehow this phone snapshot turned out best...but still sucks ;)  P2 Eternal stamped with Essence A piece of forever and MoYou Nails 401. Thought it was fun to use a full nail image a little different.

Another one I did for the Red and Gold challenge #whencolourscollide. I liked this one better then my other one that was impossible to photograph.   Base a gold holo from BK and the red is Jade Vermelho Surreal. Stamped with Konad red and MoYou Nails 412.

A frog and leaves on my nubs. Essence 11 kiss under the mistletoe from my Essence advent calendar. Stamped with BP-L029. Added the frog from Konad M30 for another challenge. Stamping polish Born Pretty 12 fluor green.

Base Impala Audrey stamped branches with Moyou London Suki 10 the leaves are from Moyou London Mother Nature 02. The owl is from MoYou Nails 411. Used Konad and Born Pretty stamping polishes.

And for a 3D facebook challenge..my owl is sitting in real forest :P   I stuck some tiny real leaves on my nail.

Thank you all for checking my blog again.

MoYou Nails entire Concept collection + Tink mani/pedi

Hi Everyone,

Today I have an exciting and long blog post for you. I have the entire MoYou Nails Concept Collection to show you. This collection contains of 10 round plates that are fully etched and each one has it's own different theme. Like music, fairytales, Christmas/winter, summer, romantique, Halloween, animal (print) and more. So there is something in it for everyone and you can buy these as a set but also individually. I will show plate scans I've made, pictures, some details and my first mani and machting pedi done with these plates.

I know everbody loves a discount so when you use the code: Diana you will get 20 % off your entire order when shopping online. You can't use this code/ coupon together with any other codes/ coupons. Also valid on their US website, so this is great news for my US readers :)

* I used my own scans to make this.

I got all 10 plates together with a stamper, plastic scraper and their 2015 Catalogue.

Let's show the individual scans I've made of the plates.

Plate 300 music themed. You can use parts or go for full nail stamping but also single out images like the music noted and stars.

Plate 301 fairytales, how adorable is Tinker Bell I just had to use her for my first mani and pedi. This plate has this magical feel to it with the twinkle stars and unicorns and beautiful roses.

Plate 302 Christmas/ Winter themed. I love how this plate has small and bigger images. Like the snowman I can use as full nail coverage but it also has these smaller images to make winter sceneries. I almost feel like doing a Christmas in May mani ;)

Plate 303 animals and animal print. How cute is it that this plate animal heads and their print pattern.

Plate 304 Halloween. Even though Halloween isn't really celebrated here I love this Holiday and always do many Halloween mani's. I see myself using this a lot in October looks great for making sceneries (and that happen to be one of my favorite kind of mani's to do ;)) The Happy Halloween can be spread across 2 fingers and I just love the bats. I also see myself using the trees for non Halloween mani's like an Autumn scenery.

Plate 305 "Nibble, nibble, like a mouse, Who is nibbling at my house?" when I saw this plate it reminded me of Hansel and Gretel because of the house and the candy. I love that you can use the images as full nail but also single out the candy and other parts. This has lots of potential to get creative with, like french tip stamping or diagonal stamping.

Plate 306 Love/ Valentine themed. I like the text and all the cute hearts. Cupid is adorable too, but he is a little big for my nails but ofcourse I can use parts of it. And as you know I like doing pedi's too, so some of the bigger hearts are great for my big too.

Plate 307 Summer!!! Summer is my favorite season. I am born the day the Summer starts here, also the longest day...June 21st. The palm trees are so pretty and look at all those cute icecream images and shells. Yes I think I'll use this plate for my next mani :)

Plate 308 Ankh, crosses, spiders, bats and a skull. I think the crosses are pretty cool ands the spiders and web too. The Ankh is too big to stamp on his own but maybe for those with really really long nails or you can stamp it on something other then nails like your phone case.

Plate 309 Wedding themed. Look at those champagne glasses and the wedding cake. I think you can easily single out images to stamp but also would look good as a full nail design. For me personally the rings are too big, that is little downside, even using the shrinking method these won't fit. But there are other ways to use parts of this like for stamping a plain french tip.

I think this is a beautiful collection that has something to offer for everyone. People with long/width nails and also small/narrow nails or even kids nails. On most of the plates you can easily single out images too (not that easy on plate 308). I like these kind of plates because you can just stamp parts of it too and it can also challenge you to be creative and think outside the box. There are more ways too use a plate then just stamp what your stamper picks up or what you see at first glance :)

Like I said I find it a little sad the Cupid, the Ankh, Tink and the Wedding rings are too big to stamp entirely on a nail, but you can use parts of it. And I did use Tinker Bell on my mani see pictures below. My nails aren't that big they vary from 1,2 cm pinkie to 1,7 cm thumb. I've seen other bloggers and Tink fits way better on their nails ;) But even though see does not fit me completely I still liked how she looked.

Here a scan of a page of their Catalogue with the Concept collection on it.

And some pictures of the plates.

Now ofcourse you want to see how they stamp too. I have done a mani and a matching pedi using plate 301. The qualilty of these plates are super good.
Base Catrice (S)wimbledon triple stamped the stars with Mundo de Uñas black, white and lilac. Made a stamping decal of Tink and used Konad black for her and colored with regular polishes.

Also did a matching pedi.
Like I said my nails vary from 1,2 cm pinkie to 1,7 cm thumb so you can get an idea of the size. The image from Tink completely is about 2,1 cm in length.

And a swatch of this pretty base color.

I had a lot of fun doing this mani and pedi. And I promise to make many more mani's (pedi's) with these plates soon :)

Some more information:

- The plates are 5,5 cm.
- They have a nice backing with the website printed on so no sharp edges.
- There are small and big images on these plates, like Tinker Bell is about 2,1 cm long but there are also images that are only 0,6 cm (snowmen) so it really is fun for everyone.
- You can also find MoYou nails on Instagram and Facebook.
- You can buy them for £39.99 as a set of ten on their website or £4.99 each.
- Shipping costs depends on where you live but you can calculate them while you view your cart with items.
- Use the code: Diana to get 20% off your entire order (can't use this code in combination with other codes)

Have a lovely day.

Japanese dolls from Stampaholics ST04

Hi Everyone,

Today a mani I did last week. I really wanted to use the cute Stampaholics ST04 plate again. So I did some subtle full nail stamping with cute Japanese dolls. Do you remember the story behind this plate called 1000 paper cranes? Such a touching story.

Base is Colorama Rosa Mosqueta, stamped the full nail with Konad SN dark red and the dolls SN black and colored them (stamping decals) with China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle and That's Shore Bright. All images are from ST04.

And also a swatch from the polish.
You can buy the Stampaholics plates here.

All my mani's for the BM challenge :)

Hi Everyone,

Here a picture of all the mani's I've done for the Bundle Monster challenge. I had so much fun, too bad I missed the first weeks because I was on vacation. I've never done a daily challenge and loved doing the 18 I did :) I wasn't one of the lucky randomly chosen winners...but having fun was more important :) I loved being creative and thinking outside the box sometimes.

Still have to show you my final Halloween mani.

Sugar Skulls

Hi Everyone,

One of the themes for the challenge was Death and it made me think of Day of the Dead. I know this is different then Halloween but I just wanted to do the colorful Sugar Skulls. I know today is actually Day of the Dead so I thought lets share it here today.

Sinful Colors Snow me White for the middle and ring finger. Used Konad SN black and BM413 for the skulls and made stamping decals of them coloring them with China Glaze Pool Party and Color Club Puccilicious and gave them neon orange stud eyes. Pinkie and index I did a saranwrap base with China Glaze Pool Party, China Glaze Sunworshiper and Color Club Puccilicious stamped with Konad SN white and BM321 the flowers and added some neon dots.

I did not really liked this mani, somehow it wasn't what I had in mind.

A green Bundle Monster Goblin ;)

Hi everyone,

Today again a Halloween mani that I did for the Bundle Monster challenge. The theme that day was "Goblins". So I had to be creative since I don't really have a plate with Goblins on it. I decided to make the Bundle Monster' Monster as a Goblin. So I drew him Goblin ears haha and I added lots of green Goblin slime.

Sinful colors Snow me white made a stamping decal of the monster and drew him goblin ears (smudged the decal a little) using BM409 and stamped green slime with Konad PSN apple green and BM405.

I messed up the decal a little and also the stamping isn't perfect..but slime and Goblins aren't perfect either ;)

Golden Autumn

Hi Everyone,

I am back from my vacation, so I will have some Greek vacation mani's for you. But also some Halloween and Fall/Autumn mani's too. I still have to upload my vacation pictures, so today an older mani I did last year but never showed on my blog yet.

Base Catrice C03 Spiced Bronze, stamped with BM04 and Konad SN green, SN yellow, SN pastel orange, SN red and SN brown. On my ring finger I've made a stamping decal with BM H11 stamped with Konad SN brown and colored them with all the other colors.

And some more pictures.

I forgot to take a swatch picture, I already had my stamping decal on my ring finger, but here you can still see a lot of the base color too.

Thanks for reading!

Penguins at the beach :)

Hi Everyone,

Last week the challenge in one of the groups was penguin nails, since the weather is really warm here I also wanted to do something for the Summer. The theme at the Nail Polish Canada challenge is also Summer. So I've send these in there. You can see all the fun summer mani's and vote by clicking the link.

As most of you know by now I love making scenery/landscape nails and I often also write a story with the mani haha.  Fab Ur Nails and I sometimes do story nails together and we talked about doing them again with this theme too. But later so many others joined too it was so fun.

First my part of the story:

 “Tropical Holiday”
Once upon a time there was this cute little penguin girl her name was Sara. Sara did not liked living in Antarctica and wanted a new adventure, so she decided to go on holiday to some place warm. During her holiday she often went to the beach, lying there with a beautiful view on the lighthouse. Swimming in the ocean, cuddling the starfish, making sandcastles, playing with the beach ball and her kite. One day something amazing happened and she saw this super hot penguin "beach" guy.... He noticed her too and it was love at first sight <3

Base Sinful Colors Snow me White, sponged with OPI Sand in my suit, P2 Blue's time and P2 Who cares? Added some white for the waves. The rest is all stamped. Lighthouse and starfish are from Moyou Sailor 01, palm trees, sandcastle, sun, kite, beach ball are from Nailways Vive la Vie- Beach baby, birds from Stampaholics ST01 and the penguins from FUN8, the flower is Konad M32.

Like I said we started thinking it was just us 2 so here also the pic of my mani and Johanne aka Fab Ur Nails her mani. Her episode was at the beach in the evening. But I'll paste the complete story below :) Since a few other chapters were added between ours.

Like I said more people joined so I wrote the rest of the storiy too and paste it all together.
 The complete story:

“Tropical Holiday”
Once upon a time there was this cute little penguin girl her name was Sara. Sara did not liked living in Antarctica and wanted a new adventure, so she decided to go on holiday to some place warm. During her holiday she often went to the beach, lying there with a beautiful view on the lighthouse. Swimming in the ocean, cuddling the starfish, making sandcastles, playing with the beach ball and her kite. One day something amazing happened and she saw this super hot penguin "beach" guy.... He noticed her too and it was love at first sight <3 (mani made by Diana van Nisselroy)

“Taking a Swim”
Sara went for a walk on the beach and visited a great beach shop where she bought a new bikini. She wanted to look at her best for the beach guy. She immediately put it on and it looked so good  on her. After her swim in the ocean she walked around the beach collecting beautiful shells. But her mind was still at the hot guy she saw earlier. (mani made by Laurie Nievin)

“Catch a Wave”
The beach guy saw this super cute girl on the beach, but later she was gone and he decided to grab his board and catch some waves. During the sunset the sky turned this amazing orange color but all he could think about was that girl and hoping he would  could see her again. (mani made by Notty Norma)

"Magic of Moonlight"
After the long day and full of fun in the beach Sara was a little shy and believe it or not the hot beach guy was shy too. He thought she was soo beautiful he just did not had the guts to talk to her. When the night fell he finally talked to her. Sara found out his name was James They enjoyed a romantic evening at the beach under the full moon. Listening in the smooth breeze of the sea.. On that romantic evening the penguin love story started .(mani made by Johanne DG aka Fab Ur Nails)

 “Going tthe Jungle”
Sara and James were completely in love, both never expected they would find love outside Antarctica. They decided to go the jungle together. That was such a great adventure, seeing purple monkeys, a big frog and a beautiful tiger. They also saw this cute Toucan bird hiding in the bushes. It was such a great day. (mani made by Pamela Feader)

“Visiting the Pyramids”
Their journey did not end in the jungle, cause they also went to Egypt to visit the pyramids. The tropical holiday was really warm for a penguin, both compared to the heat in the desert that was nothing. They were extremely hot, but luckily they found a nice oasis. So they could cool down. From the oasis they had a beautiful view on the pyramids. After they cooled down they also went on a camel ride through the desert back to the hotel. (mani made by Sara Sue Sams)

Is this where to story ends or will there be more chapters?

After this more people did an episode of the penguin story. I will post the rest someday too ;)

Thanks for reading and if you like you can vote or/and still entered the Nail Polish Canada challenge too.

World Cup 2014

Hi Everyone,

Here my World Cup nails for this year. Will do more ofcourse so hopefully we make it passed the first round ;) I did these earlier last week before I cut my nails. I needed them long to do this ;) And that night the Dutch team was playing their last friendly practise game, so it was fun to watch with orange nails :) Now I won't have much time to do my nails.

Base a gradient with China Glaze Son of a Peach and Impala Tech. Made some stamping decals and layered the stamping decals and stamping too. World Cup from MJ XXIV test plate stamping using multiple colors and layered it over a white image, cause otherwise the colors would not show up well. The Dutch flag is stamped with Konad M44 stamped all the lines seperately. The stadium, Rio and the Brazil flag heart are from Moyou Tourist 14. The smaller ball and World Cup from Konad M49 and the bigger soccer ball is from Konad M52. Used Konad SN black, white, red, blue, yellow and green.

And some more pictures.

It was really hard to scrape and not blend the colors on the world cup and the grass in the stadium and later adding a stamping decal of the little ball on top, but at the end I really liked this soccer/footbal mani.

And some pictures of the gradient base.

I really liked this orange gradient base.

Are you making World Cup nails? If you want to see more you can always search here for previous World Cup/ European Cup nails.

Tonight our Dutch team will play against Spain..so we need all the luck we can get haha.

Have a great weekend!

♥ HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY IN HEAVEN ♥

Hi Everyone,

Sunday (tomorrow) it is Mother's Day. Seeing all those commercials, advertisements and interviews about moms and their kids makes me a little extra sad and teary. My mommy is an angel and with days like this I miss her even more. As most of you know she died waaay too young with Christmas 2,5 years ago :(

The nail art challenge theme in different groups this week was Mother's Day, so I made an Angel in Heaven with blue sky, white clouds and hearts. Wishing her a Happy Mother's Day in Heaven. I love doing something special for her.

Base P2 Satin Supreme 050 royal residence. Stamped the full nail clouds with Konad SN white and Moyou Artist 10 also used that plate for the Angel. The small hearts are from Moyou Mother Nature 01 and the bigger heart from FUN7, the word mom in the heart is from Moyou Biker 08. And the words "Happy Mothers Day in Heaven” are made from the titles of the Moyou plates....well that was so difficult to do pffffff. Stamped the letters on a ziplock baggy to make a stamping decal from it, so hard to line them up. Used Konad SN black, SN red, SN white and a nude color from Impala that I forgot the name of for stamping and coloring.

I did not really liked my thumb with the winged heart but I did take a picture of it.

Used Messy Mansion MM03 for the heart, Moyou Roxy 01 for the wings and FUN12 for the word mom.

And ofcourse a swatch of the base polish.
I really liked the satin finish in this.

This mani is for all the mommies who are Angels <3

Have a nice weekend and lovely Mother's Day, give your moms an extra hug from me.

Cinco de Mayo

Hi Everyone,

I did these a week ago for some of the FB challenges, they had the theme Cinco de Mayo and I love doing themed nails :) So ofcourse I googled what Cinco de Mayo meant and I had some special plates for this holiday too.

Today may 5th we here in Holland celebrate our Liberation Day, that means all kinds of Liberation music festivals across the country :) Will show you those nails later this week ;)

Sponged the ring finger in the Mexican flag colors with Konad SN green, SN white, SN red. The gradient on the rest is Essence Cherry Blossom Girl 01 Fortune Cookie, Konad SN orange pearl and P2 Summer Love LE 020 Summer Affair. (I loved this gradient) Plates Winstonia Store W211 (pinkie) and Bundle Monster BM H24 (the rest).

And a pic of the gradient (forgot to take pic and I already stamped my ring finger).

Happy Cinco de Mayo for those who celebrate and Happy Liberation Day for the Dutchies ;)

Edit: I was featured together with the amazing Nicky at Nailart of the week on Bundle Monsters' facebook. So honored and proud.
