Hi Everyone,
Today one of my Halloween themed mani's I've made this week. I made a couple of them I love Halloween themed mani's. I wish Halloween was a real holiday here too :)
Julep contacted me and asked me if I wanted to participate with their Halloween challenge...and I said yes cause always love a challenge and especially when it is a fun theme. I don't own any Julep polish since it isn't easy for me to get, but ofcourse I've seen their polishes on blogs and facebook of my fellow nail addicts :)
They send me a Halloween nail art tutorial....we all know my freehand skills aren't that great. And I have many other Halloween ideas but I thought it was fun to do a stamping mani based on their freehand tutorial..since I am a stamping girl ;) It isn't my most favorite Halloween mani I did but it was fun to do and I did gave my own spin to it...they used a fence and I made it a wall ;)
First I'll show you my mani and then I'll share Julep's tutorial with you. I would love to see your version of it if you decide to make it :)
I needed to use a blue for the night sky color, I could have used a darker more midnight blue but I wanted to use my new polish from the Greek brand Seventeen that I bought on my vacation there ;) It is opaque in one coat so that is nice and it also stamps, so win win. Will show swatches at the end of this post.
Now here is my mani.
Base Seventeen 545 (kinda has a suede look to it). Stamped with Konad SN yellow the peace sign from BM320 so I could color it and it could be my moon (see I do combine stamping with a little freehand :P haha). Used Konad SN pastel orange (this isn't really a pastel) to color part of my nail and stamped over it with BM422 in black to make it look like a brick wall. The black cat is from Nailways Darker Period- Halloween.
Here the tutorial from Julep.
You have to zoom the read so to make it easier for you a cut it in pieces so you can easily see the steps.
Like I said if you make this look please let me know I would love to see :)
Here as promised some swatches of my new Seventeen polish. I only used one coat for this.
I really like this brand and every time when I am in Greece I have to buy at least one polish :)
Thank you for reading :)
