Stamped with black using Cheeky Jumbo plate 2 "Tropical Holiday" for the pinkie and middle finger, Bundle Monster BM321 for the black ribbons, the cross is from Konad S2, the letters/numbers are from Nailways Back to Basics -123ABC and the little plane is from Nailways Vive la Vie - Vacation.

Dolphin Sunset nails

Hi everyone who reads this :)

The weather here in Holland is finally really like Summer and I loveeeee warm sunny weather. So I just had to make summer nails (again). And love how they turned out. I was inspired by a wooden painted dolphin statue, you can see it on the pictures below.

Everything is stamped even the little islands ;) only the blue/white waves aren't stamped.

A white P2 base, sponged with China Glaze Towel Boy Toy, China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise, OPI I Need Sunglasses, Essence 01 BBC Pink Heat, OPI Purple with a Purpose and China Glaze Beach Cruise-R. Added China Glaze Wireless Holographic topcoat on top. Stamped with HB46 (parts of shells for the islands),  BM315, BM320, H10, H18, M29 and S2. The white/blue waves are made with a small brush.

I love making summer nails especially sunset summer nails on the beach with palm trees :) I also plan on entering these nails in the summer contest of Nails and Stuff.
I make something like this every year you may remember these from 2010 Romantic Sunset and 2011 Romantic Night at the Beach..
but with those 2 I also used selfmade water decals..this year it is a all stamping mani :)

 Different light.

Without flash under artificial light.

Here you can see my inspiration :)

Also made matching toes again, stamped with BM315, M29 and GCOCL A02.

Again my hand with my inspiration in the background :)

Enjoy the weekend! I know I will with this lovely sunny hot weather :)

We also are going to celebrate my dads birthday...first one without my mom :( Last year even though she was really sick she/we organized a surprise party for him because he turned 60. She also said I wanna celebrate it because it might be our last B-day together :( I soo miss her and know my Dad misses her too.

Thank for reading I am really happy with the way my nails turned out. Just by looking at them it makes me smile and I imagine I am at this beautiful beach.

Summer Neon Gradient: Turn Up The Beach

Hello everyone,

Today I have a summer neon gradient to show you :) Still have more of them from a few weeks ago, but these I made this week. I am going to a dance festival on the beach today that is called Turn Up the Beach. Not really my kind of music, but I think it would be fun anyway with my friends. Although the weather forecast is really really bad, with lots of rain and only 17 degrees Celsius (that is like 63 degree Fahrenheit). I first had a different ring finger (that was my entry for the OC contest) but later changed it with a decal for the Turn Up The Beach festival :)

I did this neon gradient base a while ago with a blue cow print on it, that was the first time I tried sponging with all the colors on one sponge at the same time. Back then I already knew I was gonna do it again for this festival but with palm trees on it :)

Base P2 Ship Ahoi! 010 Pure White. Sponged with all 6 colors of the China Glaze Poolside collection. And added China Glaze Wireless Holographic on top. Stamped with Konad SN black and imageplate S2. And a self made water decal on my ring finger of the logo from the festival.

Here you can see how it first look liked :)
 Left hand.

 Right hand.

 Hands and feet :)

Everything together, this is how I send it in for the OC Summer is Here nail art contest on their FB page.

Last month was my B-day and for my B-day I hosted a contest on Adventures in Stamping Group on facebook... I love that group. The theme for that contest was Fun in the Sun. A lot of my followers are a member there so you all now this ;) But if you're not you can see all the lovely entries there if you join this group. Below you can see the photo I made as an album cover for all the entries. A collage of some of mine summer themed creations I made over the years.

Have a nice weekend everyone, and please sent some sun to this small cold rainy country ;)

Romantic night at the beach ♥

I totally love summer themed nails, so I can't get enough of them. I made this creation a couple of weeks ago. For me this is really summer, the beach, ocean, palm trees, islands, romance, sunset, moonlight, stars etc. Can't wait to go on vacation because the weather here in Holland is not that nice ;)

For the base I used a lot of different holographic polishes: China Glaze: DV8, 2NITE, OMG, LOL, IDK, BFF and QT and mixed and layered them all together to create the sky and sea. I also used Teeez holographic Outta Control and Cool to make it more sparkly and gradient. I used Konad M14 for the stars stamped with Nfu Oh 65. With Konad SN black and image plate S2 I stamped the palm trees. The islands I made with a part of HB46. The moon and black beach is freehand. And the love couples are self made water decals.

My hand.

Under different light.

My hand again.

And ofcourse I had to make matching toes :)
My toes are China Glaze 2NITE, DV8, IDK en LOL.On my big toe also a selfmade water decal of a love couple. The rest I stamped with Konad SN black and image plate S2.

I was really happy with these nails and had it on my nails for more than a week :)

Hope you all have a great summer (or other season when you live on the other side of the world ;) )

Have a nice weekend!

Landscape: ♥ my new spring/summer nails 2011 ♥

Today I finally show you my new spring/summer landscape nails from this year. I made them this weekend. And personally really like them, can't stop looking at my nails. Especially when it's raining outside, they just make me happy :)

(You can click on the photo to enlarge it)
Base Essence 05 Speed of light blue from the You Rock Limited Edition, Golden Rose holographic color 115 for the green and Nubar Absolute for the blue. For the water I used the same colors first the Essence one and then a coat of Nubar.

Imageplates: C01 (Konad Coraline) for the sun, S2 part of the palm tree for some grass, M23 for the red flowers and leafs, M66 for some plants and grass, M79 for the clouds, HB32 for the small flowers and butterfly and HB34 for the flamingos, swan, frog, dragonfly and birds.

For stamping I used all Konad SN or PSN polishes: pop green, olive green, green, violet pearl, blue pearl, psyche pink, pink pearl, yellow, white, cool red and pastel orange.

I also used some Essence nail art pens and a dotting tool to add some details like the flamingos beak and feet, the swan eyes and beak and the middle of the flowers.

Some people asked me if my right hand would look the same as my left, so here a photo of my right hand ;)

This weekend my nails and I ;) visited Giuditta place. She had just received her nail polish wall displays/racks and did not had any tools/supplies to hang them up on her wall. So I immediately asked my dad if he had any screws for me and if I could borrow his tools....and there I went to the railway station to get on the train with everything. It was soooo hot that day luckily Giuditta picked me up at the station with her bike so all the heavy stuff could go in het bicycle bags. It was a long walk to her home but in the mean time we had a lot of time to chat and visit some stores :)

We had so much fun that day, especially when I was saying/grumbling that my dad gave me the smallest screwdrivers I had ever seen and he probably thought.."Oh women have small hands or something" and after we were done I found the handle where I supposed had click them in.....hahaha I felt sooo stupid and dumb. Another hilarious thing was when we were rearranging her nail polishes by brand and color she said... "Oh those two really look a like" and then she picked them up and looked at the bottom and saw a big surprise....THEY WERE THE SAME ;)  and both of them she bought recently. She gave one bottle to me, as a thank you gift a long with some decals she received that day, for helping that day.....thank you so much ♥
Here you can see my new friend (Color Club Total Mystery) going to his new home in the train ;) with some typical grass landscape behind it through the window. Also added the decals to the photo. Once again thanks Giuditta for that day, I really needed that.

If you want to see Giuditta' stash and read more you can visit her blog here:

There also is this hilarious/ridiculous photoshopped photo of me there, don't look at that please ;)

I'm really happy with this creation and don't want to remove it, but friday I have it on my nails for a week and then I won't be able to do my nails again untill tuesday, I don't think they will survive that long :( So I think I do have to say goodbye to them friday ;)

Palm beach

Sorry I've been really busy and just had no time to post something new. Because my first weekly creation was with palm trees I thought it would be fun to show some older creations in the same theme.
So here is a creation I made in June 2009 with my birthday (the day the summer starts)

I sponged the base with Konad SN pastel yellow,  SN pastel blue, SN sky blue and glitter. The palm tree is from plate M29 with SN brown and SN green, the flower is from M26 with SN cool red. The waves are from plate S2 and I used SN white.
(don't look at my thumb it broke and looks really sad :( )

On my birthday my boyfriend and I went to the beach. The weather was not really nice but it was really lovely just to walk there. And I just had to take a picture there.

Romantic Sunset

This is my first weekly nailart creation. I wanted to do this for a long time and then the sweet Ellen decided to host a contest on my favorite forum Beautiful nails for you with the theme Beach and Love. So I thougt it with be perfect to make it for that contest. She had a couple of rules: must use yellow and red, and use rhinestones or glitter.
The base I made with 6 different colors acrylic paint and a fan brush. The palmtrees I stamped with Konad SN Black and S2, the dolphin is from A02. The love couple on my ringfinger and thumb are self made water decals. I used yellow glitter below at my cuticles.

Here is a picture of just the base without Konad.
The weather ain't that good here in Holland, but I'm still going on my summer vacation next month. So this creation is perfect to get it the mood.
