Christmas 2011: Chococat in a Christmas ball :)

Hello Everyone,
Like I said yesterday I made Christmas ball decals again in 2011. Did this during my blogging break, while my mom was really sick. I also did Chococat decals this year, Chococat in the stocking..saying I wanted a kitty for Christmas. I used that same Chococat image in 2011 but than placed in balls instead of stockings :)
Base Essence 50's Girls Reloaded 04 Love me Tender. Self made/ designed water decals of Chococat in Christmas balls. Stamped with Konad M76 and SN yellow, SN psyche pink, SN green, SN blue and SN red.
I really liked the color but did not liked the finish and it was a bit brush strokey ;) But luckily those weren't showing all the time. See swatches.

Christmas 2009: Disney Christmas balls

Hi Everyone,

I am blogging more then normal, but I need the distraction so much these days. I really feel bad and miss my mom so much and the closer Christmas gets the closer the day she died gets too :( And I still have a lot of older Christmas nails to show you. So this means more blogposts from me :)

Today I'll show you an oldie again :) Made in 2009. I just love Disney and made these cute decals.

Base OPI Give me the Moon. Self made water decals of Disney characters in a Christmas ball. The bows are stamped with Konad M7 and SN green, SN violet pearl, PSN psyche pink, SN red and SN blue.

And some swatches of this pretty grey.

I think this is a pretty color. I did some Christmas balls decals in 2011 too, will show those tomorrow ;)

Fashion Inspired: Christmas dress...FAIL ;)

Hello Hello,
I made these nails last friday. I had so much fun making my Zebra Black and White gradient nails for Wacky Laki's Inspired by Fashion contest that I wanted to do another one again. But I was happy that I've sent in the zebra one and not this one, because this really was a fail. You can see all the amazing entries and vote for your favorite by clicking here. If you like mine I am entry number 7 :)

Now back to my fail Fashion inspired Christmas dress nails ;) You know I told you I really like Danbo the cardboard box guy? Well Danbo helped me with these nails...lol see the pictures below. I can blame him for the fail :P haha.
Base Golden Rose Paris Magic 308 (a gorgeous shimmer red that is hard to photograph) Saran wrapped with China Glaze Snow. Stamped with Konad SN white and M9 and the bow from the candy cane on M12 in SN red.

I really did not liked how the saran wrapped nails turned out...you can still see where my inspiration is coming from, but I removed these nails the same night..lol. I did not wanted to spent my Saturday with these nails ;)
A picture of the Christmas dress.
And my nails again.
Of course some swatches of the red base...that was really hard to capture. You still see a bit of visable nail line. But it really is a pretty red.
Here the cute pictures of Danbo helping me with the Saran wrap..lol.

Thanks for reading :)

And don't forget to vote for your favorite Fashion Inspired nails on Wacky Laki. If you like mine then vote number 7 :)

Snowflake toes in the snow!

Hi Everyone,

I made these nails 2 weeks ago, when we went to a subtropical pool and there was a lot of snow that day here in Holland. Too bad the snow is now gone :( My boyfriend bought us a new camera, one that also can get wet :) So we took it with us to the pool..had soo much fun that day taking crazy pics under water and outside in the snow in our bikini's /swim shorts. The outside pool was very warm and when we climbed out to play in the snow it wasn't even that cold and then jumping in the water was soooo hot. Not going to post my snowy bikini pics here..lol but did made pics of my toes in the outside pool with the snowy trees in the background.

Because of the warm water and the outside temperature below zero the pool was very steamy/foggy. Especially when it was dark you couldn't see a thing :) This made the wildwater track even more fun :)

Base Teeez Cool (a pretty blue holographic) and stamped with XL plate O (that is a dupe of XL K) with Konad SN white.

It was such a nice day.

Here a close up of my foot.

Thanks for reading.

Fashion Inspired: black gradient with zebra stripes

Hi Everyone,
Today I'll show you something I made in the beginning of this week for Wacky Laki's Fashion Inspired contest. I had so much fun doing my first Fashion inspired nails, that I did another (Christmas) one today but that is a bit of a fail ;) But of course I will show them later this week too ;)
Here are my first Fashion Inspired nails :) I am not really the animal print kind of girl, but my BF really liked this dress and said I should do these. And I was like well it is the perfect way for me to use animal prints again :) And in the end I was happy with the final result.
Base a black/gray/white gradient with China Glaze Snow, Catrice C01 Pebbles Beach and Beauty UK Midnight Minx black. And stamped with Konad M57 and SN black.
The dress... I would actually wear this despite the fact I don't really like animal print. I think this one is pretty :) You can buy it here at Simplydresses.
 Another picture of my nails.
 Again :)
And some swatches of just the black and white gradient base.

I believe you can see all the entries tomorrow on Wacky Laki and vote for your favorite then :)

I really had so much fun and think I will do Fashion Inspired nails more often :) Like I said did some today on a red base but that was a fail, but will show those next week ;)

Thanks for reading.
And have a nice weekend!

The dark days before Christmas!

Hi Everyone,

Today I'll show you something I made last year in me blogging break. It were the dark days before Christmas....not knowing Christmas it self would be even darker and my mom would actually die on 2nd Christmas day :( I know most of you know she died last year and I really find it difficult to handle especially these days and that Christmas is coming closer. So I'll just distract my self with blogging, doing my nails more often ;) and entering challenges/contest for the fun :)

But for today a creation from last year :)

Base Color Club Totaly Mystery. Sponged with Konad SN white. The little houses and trees are stamped with HB33 and the tiny snowflakes come from HB23, all stamped with Konad SN white.

Here some swatches of this beautiful blue base, I got it from a friend.

Although I don't really feel like celebrating Christmas, we did buy 2 Christmas trees today, one for us and one for at my parents place. My mom really loved Christmas, so I do want to decorate our houses. I always love the lights and stuff. And maybe she is a Christmas angel watching down and she would like to see our houses decorated :)

Blue and Purple OPI gradient with golden nail art

Hi everyone,

These nails I made for the weekly AIS challenge last Sunday. The challenge was to use gold as a base or stamping color...I chose gold as a stamping color.

I also really wanted to try my OPI Ger-minis that I got from the sweet Gosia from Live in Color. Thanks again <3 So I made a gradient base with 2 of the OPI's Suzi And The 7 Dusseldorf and Unfor-greta-bly Blue.

I have lots of pictures because we have a new camera and I also used my moms and my bf's phone. Still trying to figure out what works best ;)

Base a gradient with OPI Suzi And The 7 Dusseldorf and Unfor-greta-bly Blue.Stamped with Essence a Piece of Forever and Konad M90. A very simple design but I liked it a lot :)

Some more pictures with different camera's and settings.

Some swatches of just the base OPI Suzi And The 7 Dusseldorf.

And some pictures of the OPI Germany gradient.

My nails with Danbo in the back :)

Those of you who also know me on facebook, know I really like Danbo (the cute cardboard box guy) Now I got a "real" Danbo from my sister so I can make my own Danbo adventures pictures :) On my nail facebook page I have a Danbo album with Danbo's nail and other adventures D.I.A.N.A Danbo. But I will also sometimes post a nail related Danbo picture here :)

Here is Danbo with the OPI Ger-minis :)

Christmas 2009: Disney babies ♥

Hello Everyone,

I want to thank everyone who voted for me the last 3 weeks in the Nail Polish Canada holiday challenge. I can't actually win anything since I am not in the US or Canada but I did had fun and appreciated your votes :)

Today I'll show you something old :) I made these in 2009. Not so good cleaned up, but like I said several times I do like sharing my older creations too. And despite the bit messy cutticles I still think these are cute ;) (only my nails are a bit too long).

Base is China Glaze Snow with Nfu Oh 38 flakies. Stamped with Konad M12 the holly and the words Merry Christmas. Using SN wine red and SN green. The Disney Christmas babies are selfmade water decals :)

With different light, you see the flakies a bit better.

And of course a swatch of just the white base with flakies.
China Glaze Snow with Nfu Oh 38.

Thanks for reading :) I still have a lot of other older Christmas creations to show you :)
