The World Cup is over :(

The World Cup is over and I kinda miss it. I loved watching the games on tv almost every night. And also loved supporting my country with mani's and pedi's. Here the 7 World Cup mani's and 2 pedi's I've done. Now wait 2 years for the European Cup :)

World Cup: Proud of the Dutch Lions

Hi Everyone,

Even though we did not made it to the Final I am still proud of the Dutch team. In the beginning nobody thought we would make it this far (most people thought we would not make it pass the first round). Tonight they play for the 3rd and 4th place against Brazil. So this is my last World Cup mani. I am proud of the Dutch Lions in Brazil :)

Base Sinful Colors Snow me white and P2 divine (white shimmer). Stamped the thumbs up from FUN2, the Brazil heart from Moyou Tourist 14, the orange lion from Moyou Fairytale 12, the soccer/ foot balls from Winstonia W103, the flags from Konad M49, the lines from Nailways Back to Basics - Lines, the letters VS from Nailways Back to Basics 123ABC. And some red, white and blue dots made with a dotting tool.

I do hope we win ofcourse but I also find it okay if Brazil wins ;)

World Cup: The Netherlands - Argentina

Hi Everyone,

In about an hour the World Cup Semi Final will be played...it's the The Netherlands - Argentina.  Or our Queen vs our King haha since she is from Argentina ;) This is my 6th World Cup mani....Go Holland Go!!!  I did my best to try and make something new/different ;) I will be making a 7th mani, hopefully for the final against Germany but will also make one for the 'loser' final against Brasil if Argentina wins tonight.

Base Sinful Colors Cloud 9 and Snow me White (index and ring finger) stamped with Nailways Snowwhite -Traces the feet, the big ball pattern is from Bundle Monster BM 408, the soccer/ foot balls from Winstonia W103, The I and heart from MoYou Tourist 15, and made the VS from the word Winstonia on W03. Using SN white, red, blue and pastel blue.

And here a picture of just the base with the flags on my ring finger and index. Made those with striping tape over my white base so I could paint the red and (light) blue and have straight lines.

World Cup: The Netherlands - Costa Rica

Hi Everyone,

Today another World Cup mani for the game The Netherlands - Costa Rica this evening. Well I am ready :) And do hope we win again. I have so much fun making these World Cup mani's.

Base China Glaze Orange You Hot, stamped all the soccer/ foot balls from Winstonia W103 (double stamped first in white and colored them white stamped over them in black), made the Dutch and the Costa Rica flag with lines from BM 411 and FUN12. The Dutch Cow is from Moyou Tourist 15 and the Costa Rica Toucan from Winstonia W03. The World Cup is from MJ XXIV tester plate.

Just a short post today, still have the same World Cup pedi like last weekend...they brought us luck.

World Cup: We are on fire :)

Hi Everyone,

In one of the facebook groups the challenge this week is Caviar Beads. I have lots of them but don't use them much, so it was actually fun that this challenge was picked for this week...I had to use them again. I am also still in the World Cup mood so I had to combine the beads with a World Cup mani :)

I did not really liked this and removed it right away.

Catrice Orango Bloom (and a white on my ring finger) stamped the flames in the colors of our flag (red,white,blue) from Bundle Monster BM312 and the soccer/foot ball is from Winstonia Store W103. Double stamped....first in white and colored it white then stamped over it with black.

Ofcourse I have a The Netherlands - Costa Rica World Cup mani planned for tomorrow :)

World Cup: The Netherlands- Mexico

Hi Everyone,

Tonight is another World Cup game for my country. We have to play against Mexico and they are good so it will be hard. But of course I had to make another mani and pedi to support my country. I love making soccer/ football nails.

Base Color Club You Got Soul-Ar (orange our national color), stamped the leg/foot and ball from Cheeky CH35, made the little flags with the stripes on Bundle Monster BM411, the Dutch wooden shoe/clog is from Moyou Tourist 15, the big ball print is from BM408, the Mexican sombrero is from BM-H24, the soccer/foot ball from Winstonia Store W103 and the World Cup name is Konad Brasil M49.

And I had to make a pedi too :)

Little and big soccer/foot ball from Winstonia Store W103 (first stamped in white then colored it with white and went over it with black) Little feet in the colors of our flag red, white and blue. (yes did my other foot on purpose different so it will stay red, white blue from left to right  ) stamped using Nailways Snowwhite- Traces and the wooden shoes (clogs) made with Moyou Tourist 15.

I am ready for tonights game..fingers crossed we will make it to the quarter finals :)

Terschelling, World Cup and Oerol festival

Hi Everyone,

As many of you know I love going to Terschelling, one of the Dutch Wadden Island. I love the nature and feeling there, it always feels like home when I am there. We used to go there when we were little too. Every in June there is the Oerol festival there, this means music, theater, plays etc. There are sooo many people on the island and and it is always fun. This year we are also there and just like other years I wanted to do a Terschelling scenery but the World Cup is also now and I also always love to do something for that too....so I combined those things...

Terschelling is turning orange for the World Cup during the Oerol festival...with soccer balls all over the island and a beautiful orange sunset sky ;)

Holo base using many holo's from Golden Rose Paris, DA, Catherine Arley, Nail Nation. Self made water decals of the seagull on the pole, the seals, seagull, the lighthouse Brandaris, the flag from Terschelling, the Oerol logo, the boat. Painted the back white on some decals to make them pop. And stamped the soccer balls from Moyou Tourist 14 and Konad M49 first in white then colored them and stamped over the in black, stamped the green grass from Konad M66 and M29, and the flying seagulls are from Stampaholis ST01. Using Konad SN black, green and white.

Also did a pedi ofcourse. Base Impala Tech with Hits Demeter (both Brazilian brands so hopefully they will bring us luck in Brazil ;)) The soccer balls from Konad M49 and self made water decals from the Terschelling flag and Oerol logo.

And my hand with my toes together. A bumped my toe while it was still wet so the ball is not round anymore haha, tried to fix it.

I usually also post some pictures of our vacation there. But I will do that in another post since I planned this post, and I haven't been on the computer since my vacation so those pictures aren't on the computer yet.

World Cup 2014

Hi Everyone,

Here my World Cup nails for this year. Will do more ofcourse so hopefully we make it passed the first round ;) I did these earlier last week before I cut my nails. I needed them long to do this ;) And that night the Dutch team was playing their last friendly practise game, so it was fun to watch with orange nails :) Now I won't have much time to do my nails.

Base a gradient with China Glaze Son of a Peach and Impala Tech. Made some stamping decals and layered the stamping decals and stamping too. World Cup from MJ XXIV test plate stamping using multiple colors and layered it over a white image, cause otherwise the colors would not show up well. The Dutch flag is stamped with Konad M44 stamped all the lines seperately. The stadium, Rio and the Brazil flag heart are from Moyou Tourist 14. The smaller ball and World Cup from Konad M49 and the bigger soccer ball is from Konad M52. Used Konad SN black, white, red, blue, yellow and green.

It was really hard to scrape and not blend the colors on the world cup and the grass in the stadium and later adding a stamping decal of the little ball on top, but at the end I really liked this soccer/footbal mani.

Soccer/Football month: World Cup final Beesies nails (World Cup 2010)

Tomorrow the European Cup Final is played. Too bad we are not playing like we did 2 years ago in the World Cup Final. During the World Cup (and European Cup) you got all kinds of stuff when you went grocery shopping. At the supermarket I usually go you got Beesies, some wormy little furry creatures in the Dutch colors. They were really populair.

So I made Beesies nails :)

Base OPI Alpine Snow, selfmade water decals of Beesies. Stamped with Konad M79 and SN red and blue the stripes. And M49 SN blue the word World Cup.

To bad we did not won back then, but it was better then how we did this year at the European Cup. Soccer/Football month is now over let's go back to Summer nails :)

Soccer/Football Month: Feet, Flags and Balls (World Cup 2010)

Hello!

Like I said before it is still soccer/football month even though Holland is already home ;) We really sucked this year. But I had fun making supporting nails. These nails I made in 2010 for the World Cup. We did it better back then ;)

Base is Golden Rose Holographic no 111. A rusty orange kind of holo polish, Stamped with Konad SN black, white, red, blue. And imageplates M49 world cup, balls, flags and GCOCL B02 for the feet. Did not turned out really neat but they were okay for one match.

I love these tiny bootles of Golden Rose, they are cute :)

Soccer/Football month: Orange, Red, White and Blue feet (European Cup 2012)

Hello my lovely readers,

Tonight is Holland's 3rd match againt Portugal. Since we lost our first 2 I wasn't sure if I wanted to make Holland nails agains, but then I heard there still was an option that we could make the second round....of we win with 2 goals difference. And if Germany wins from Denmark.

I went to Germany yesterday so I did not want to make very noticable orange nails :P So I did make Holland football nails but not really football nails ;)

Base is Color Club Worth the Risque a silver holo. Stamped with Konad SN orange, red, white and blue. Imageplate M45 for the french tip dots (balls) and GCOCL B02 for the feet. And on my thumb I made a flag made out of a feet with HB26.

Hope we will win, but I seriously have my doubts.

I will have some other soccer/football creations to show you no matter if we loose or not ;)

Soccer/Football month: Yoshi can kick some balls (Word Cup 2010)

Hi everyone,

I made these for the second match in the World Cup in 2010. I so love Yoshi from Nintendo, it's my favourite Nintendo character. My sisters dog is called Yoshi too. So I wanted to make some supporting soccer/football nails with Yoshi.

Base is OPI Seagullible. And self made water decals of Yoshi kicking some footballs :) Stamped with Konad M60 and SN red, white and blue. Finished with a layer of China Glaze wireless holographic topcoat.

Soccer/Football month: Orange Lions (from Miffy) against Germany (European Cup 2012)

Hi Everyone,

Tomorrow Holland is playing against Germany. Since we lost our match against Denmark we really must win this, but I am affraid the Germans are gonna kick our ass :( Like I said in my previous blog...2 years ago against Brazil I had a Brazilian polish as a base and that brought us luck. So for the match tomorrow I decided to use a German base polish ;) So everything is in balance :P hahaha hope it will bring us luck again :)

Base P2 Ship Ahoi 010 pure white with a coat of P2 Divine. Self made water decals of the lion from Miffy. And french tips stamped with Konad M88 and SN pastel orange.

I really hope we beat Germany (sorry for my German followers ;))

Soccer/Football month: Dutch Lions against Brazil (Wold Cup 2010)

These nails I made in 2010 for the World Cup match against Brazil. We really were convinced that we were doomed to loose that match, but we won :)

Base Impala Rocket (a polish from Brazil to keep everything balanced ;)) Sponged orange tips with Konad SN orange and some orange neon glitter on top. Self made water decal of lions with a football (lions are a Dutch symbol from many years ago and now days also used to support our country in soccer/football matches) Stamped stars from Konad M3 using SN red, white and blue.

Using a Brazilian polish as a base brought us luck 2 years ago because we won and we never expected that. Our next match is against Germany....shall I use a German polish as a base this time? I was thinking P2 because that is unlike Essence and Catrice (who are also German brands) only sold in Germany I believe.

Soccer/Football month: Holland football nails with Orange You Hot? (European Cup 2012)

Hello Everyone,

Like I said in my previous post I wanted to make something matching with my toes for Hollands first match today. Normally I match my toes with my hands, but this time the other way around. Because I plan on leaving my toes that way for the upcoming 3 matches.

So I made my hands to same way as my toes :)

Base 3 coats of China Glaze Orange You Hot? from the Summer Neon 2012 collection. I sooo love this orange color. Stamped with M49 and M52 (bigger footballs on my thumb) first in SN white and then I colored them with a Essence pearl white nail art pen. And tried to precisely stamp over it with SN black. On my thumb a selfmade water decal of Hup Holland.

Soccer/Football month: Orange You Hot? Football Toes (European Cup 2012)

Hi everyone,

My feet are already ready for our first match saturday against Denmark. I usually leave polish on my toes longer then on my hands, so think they will last for the upcoming 3 matches (we probably don't play more..yeah I know not optimistic right ;) but we have some tough opponents). As you can see in me previous post I did something similair 2 years ago during the World Cup. I just like these footballs on my toes :)

Base is China Glaze Orange You Hot? from the new Summer Neons 2012 collection. A perfect bright "Dutch" orange ;) Stamped with Konad SN black and M49 and M52. Again first stamped it in white on my big toe and colored it with a Essence nail art pen and stamped over it with black. A selfmade water decal of Hup Holland Hup (means Go Holland/Netherlands Go) it is also part of the lyrics of a Dutch soccer/football song.

I plan on making something matching on my nails for this first match :)

Soccer/Football month: Football Feet (World Cup 2010)

Today I'll show you my feet I made for the World Cup in 2010 . I did something similair this year, will show them later this week.

Base is Impala (matte fluors) Tech. Stamped with Konad SN black and M49 and M52 on my big toe (stamped in white first and then colored it and stamped again over it in black). Selfmade water decal of WK 2010 (it's short for World Cup in Dutch).

Soccer/Football month: Hello Kitty goes Orange! (World Cup 2010)

Hi everyone,

This weekend the European soccer/football Cup starts, that means making Holland (red,white,blue or orange nails) :) 2 years ago when it was the World Cup I made several Holland creations, but back then I did not had blog. So I thought it would be fun to show you these too in the upcoming weeks and also my new supporting my country nails for this European Cup that I still have to make. I don't expect that we come far, but we play at least 3 games so I think I will make at least 3 new creations :)

This creation I made for our first match in the World Cup in 2010.

Base is China Glaze Glacier and and a white french with China Glaze Snow. Self made water decals of Hello Kitty (gave her an orange "Dutch" dress and a football) Stamped with Konad M44 and SN red and SN blue, so it looks like our red, white and blue Dutch flag.
