Monthly palette Project August 2013

Hi Everyone,

Here something I've made for the Monthly Palette Project in August 2013....told you I still have so many mani's to show haha ;) The rules were to use at least 2 of the colors on the palette and tape ofcourse my goal was to use them all ;)

Base Glitter Gal The Award Goes To, then added striping tape and painted over it with P2 Denim Delight 020 navy washed denim. Sponged the tips with P2 Denim Delight 050 indigo denim and removed the tape again so you can see the Glitter Gal stripes. Stamped with Konad SN white and Pueen 26. Added dots with Flormar 394.

And here all the seperate pictures.

 Also from my right hand.

 Another one from my hand.

The base.

And all the polishes I used.

I remember I really liked this mani, not sure why I never posted it before haha.

Thanks for reading.

Happy 2015

Hi lovely readers,

I hope you all have a great New Years Eve. Here is my last mani I did in 2014 (still have many others from this year to show you haha but these are my New Years nails). I did liked my gold one too but I don't wear gold so I really wanted black and silver to match my clothes/jewelry.

Base Sinful Colors Black on Black and Color Club Harp on it on my tips. Stamped with Bundle Monster BM-H14 and Color Club Harp on it. Happy New Year is from Nailways Snowwhite- New Year plate and used the numbers 20 and 15 from the big Konad Demo plate using Konad SN black.

And another picture where you see the holo rainbow better.

See you next year!

Best Wishes and xoxox

First time color blocking (WON MPP June)

Hi Everyone,

The challenge this month in WON was to use color blocking, something I have never done/tried before. So I really liked to try this. Just like every month a color palette was giving and we had to use at least 2 colors. I always like to try all 5 or 6 of the colors on the palette.

First the picture with the color palette, the polishes and my final mani.

Pinkie, middle finger and thumb lilac base (P2 Into Lace 020 Lust) and ring finger and index light greenish base (P2 Far East So Close 030 Bluish green) used striping tape and then colored the other parts and removed the striping tape again.

Polishes used from left to right:
- P2 Into Lace 020 Lust
- Color Club Puccilicious
- Konad PSN Dark Purple
- P2 249 Dangerous
- Catrice 250 I Sea You!
- P2 Far East So Close 030 Bluish green

The Konad stamping polish looks a little more brown on the nail but it really is dark purple ;)

And some pictures of just the nails.

Thanks for reading :)

Playing with holo's and tape :)

Hi Everyone,

Today I have a non stamping mani for you, I know that is really rare for me ;) Cause I always stamp or combine things with stamping ;) But this one really is without any stamping...LOL.I did them earlier this week .

The base are 4 holo colors from Catherine Arley (purple 673, yellow 801, red 800 and orange 806) placed in a different pattern of stripes /dots on each finger, added parts of striping tape in different patterns too, then added a layer of a black holo Catherine Arley 805 and removed the striping tape again :)

And some more pictures of it.

I really like playing with striping tape, this is only my 2nd time using it, but I love it :)

Later I've made them matte with Essie matte about you topcoat.

And both shiny and matte together.
Shiny vs matte? Which do you like better?

Have a nice weekend!

Something really quick and some ideas :)

Hi everyone,

I've been really sick 2 weeks ago, and last week I went on a short holiday to Center Parcs in Belgium. I was so sick that I was afraid I would not be able to go, but luckily that turned out okay. So sorry for not blogging for a a while.

Here is something I did 2 weeks ago when I had a little workshop again :) Some girls wanted to learn new things, so I showed them all the new things I've learned from fellow stamping/ nail addicts :)

Thumb: a gradient with a make up sponge. And 2 times stamping, first in pastel green then colored the image with that same color and stamped the same image again in metallic pink. With Nailways Spring Time -Easter Bunny A-NW00006 plate ;)

Index: using striping tape, sponging over it with a more coarse Konad sponge and removing the tape again and a Konad flower..

Middle vinger: a baby chicken ;) using flocking powder (but when I took the pic half of it was gone because it was done really quick with too little topcoat underneath) The face made with a dotting tool, the hair is stamped (part of the Konad pineapple image)

Ring finger: saran wrap technique with 2 colors.

Pinkie: a stamping decal Konad M1, coloring him on the stamper, then a layer of topcoat and peel it off. And put it on the nail, I smudged it a bit. But like I said it was done really quick just to show those girls how it was done :) On Messy Mansion is a great tutorial of stamping decals :)

I had so much fun that day, later I took most of it off and did saran wrap on all of them to cover the bald spots…had do it sooo fast cause had to go, but I thought can’t go out with these 5 different nails :P

The Saran wrap with China Glaze Lemon Fizz and a brght pink color from 2True. And a Kleancolor metallic black stamp from Konad M22.

The Saran wrap base.

Both together.

Last week I had skittle Easter nails and toes, I will show those tomorrow.

Have a nice weekend!

Bowling nails

Hi Everyone,

I was sure I already posted these on my blog but I can't find them, so maybe I did not posted them since I was busy with all the V-day mani's last month. But I made these in February. I went bowling with my family and my dad's new girlfriend and her family. So since they already knew me as a crazy nail lady (from stories my dad told them) I thought let's make a mani that is perfect for bowling. I had just received my Cheeky 2012 set that was my prize from the lovely Wacky Laki. I knew there was a bowling image on them. I also got some striping tape recently and really wanted to use that too, so I combined them.

A white base from Essence with Kleancolor metallic white on top, added striping tape and sponged over it with Kleancolor metallic black (and white) and I removed the tape again :) Stamped with Cheeky CH35 and Kleancolor metallic black.

Here a pic of just the tape mani. Since it was my first time using striping tape I wanted to play with it and did each nail differently.
I was really happy with my first striping tape mani.

Bowling was fun too :)

Thanks for reading.
