Dolphin Sunset nails

Hi everyone who reads this :)

The weather here in Holland is finally really like Summer and I loveeeee warm sunny weather. So I just had to make summer nails (again). And love how they turned out. I was inspired by a wooden painted dolphin statue, you can see it on the pictures below.

Everything is stamped even the little islands ;) only the blue/white waves aren't stamped.

A white P2 base, sponged with China Glaze Towel Boy Toy, China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise, OPI I Need Sunglasses, Essence 01 BBC Pink Heat, OPI Purple with a Purpose and China Glaze Beach Cruise-R. Added China Glaze Wireless Holographic topcoat on top. Stamped with HB46 (parts of shells for the islands),  BM315, BM320, H10, H18, M29 and S2. The white/blue waves are made with a small brush.

I love making summer nails especially sunset summer nails on the beach with palm trees :) I also plan on entering these nails in the summer contest of Nails and Stuff.
I make something like this every year you may remember these from 2010 Romantic Sunset and 2011 Romantic Night at the Beach..
but with those 2 I also used selfmade water decals..this year it is a all stamping mani :)

 Different light.

Without flash under artificial light.

Here you can see my inspiration :)

Also made matching toes again, stamped with BM315, M29 and GCOCL A02.

Again my hand with my inspiration in the background :)

Enjoy the weekend! I know I will with this lovely sunny hot weather :)

We also are going to celebrate my dads birthday...first one without my mom :( Last year even though she was really sick she/we organized a surprise party for him because he turned 60. She also said I wanna celebrate it because it might be our last B-day together :( I soo miss her and know my Dad misses her too.

Thank for reading I am really happy with the way my nails turned out. Just by looking at them it makes me smile and I imagine I am at this beautiful beach.

Spiderweb nails and some funny dressed up photos

Hi everyone,

Today some older nails I made in february this year for Carnival. They did not turned out the way I wanted but it was just for a day and suited my Carnival outfit. Will show some pictures of how we (my sis, my BF and I) looked liked that day :)

Base Essence 78 Right, Girl stamped BM13 and SN white and M28 and SN black. I couldn't get a good picture so the spiders kinda disappeared on the base with the flash.

Some swatches of this red base.

And some pictures of how we look liked, it was so much fun painting my BF's face this way. My sister already bought her costume in December and really wanted to be a vampire, so we had to find something that suited hers a bit. I did not had too much to spend so just added some spiders everywhere on my hat and neckless, earings and clothes and make up.

It was really funny to dress up a bit (not my clothes (those I normally wear too) but the hat, gloves, spiders everywhere and make up :)

Enjoy your day!

China Glaze TMI (with China Glaze Shooting Stars)

China Glaze TMI was also still one of my untried polishes. Always when I need something quick I choose a holo. This one is from March this year. Just had the polihs on for a few days and later added the glitter topcoat for one day.

So today no nail art post from me but only some swatches :)
China Glaze TMI a beautiful holo from the OMG collection.

Later I added China Glaze Shooting Stars a holo glitter topcoat with small and bigger glitter.

Purple roses

Hello my lovely readers :)

I really thought I have showed these nails already on my blog a while ago, but I can't find them. Not when I search for brand or imageplate. So they are really not there ;) So lets show these today.
Golden Rose Holographic 107 as a base...love this color soooo much. Stamped with Catrice 380 Forget-Me-Not and imageplate M76.
It is just simple but I really liked these nails :)
Also some swatches of this pretty polish, it is really unique in my stash it is not a lilac and not a silver holo.
Thanks for reading.

Sunset Sailing with some Seagulls :)

Hey hey,

I made these a few months ago at the end of May and just haven't posted them yet...no reason why. But here they are and it is still Summer (when I made these it wasn't Summer but we had Summer weather for a few days). This was actually my second sponged neon gradient (with all the colors at a sponge at once).

Base a gradient of China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, China Glaze Sunworshiper and Impala Tech sponged over a white base. Added China Glaze Wireless Holographic topcoat on top. Stamped with Konad SN black and imageplates H18 and H20.

Here some more pictures made with differnet light.

My kinda matching toes :) with the same base but another stamp :)
Stamped with Konad SN black and M29.

Also some swatches of the gradient.

In different lighting.

Nail art inspired by my new Havaianas on Orly Fiesta

I got some new Havaianas this weekend, and I was inspired by them to make a nail art creation. Using matching colors and hearts and skulls, because the pattern of my flipflops looks like hearts and heartshaped skulls. So I used hearts and a stamp that looks to me like some sort of skull (with 3 tiny skulls underneath) too ;)

Base Orly Fiesta with Spectraflair 14 topcoat. Stamped with Konad SN black and imageplate BM310 and Konad SN pastel pink and imageplate M3.

Some picture os just my hand.

A swatch of Orly Fiesta with Spectraflair 14 topcoat.

And some swatches of just Orly Fiesta.

I like getting inspiration from thing I see or happen to me, this time it were my new flip flops :)
Have a nice day!

China Glaze BFF (with simple nail art)

Hey hey,

Today something I made really quick last week, my nails were "naked" for a day and my BF asked if I wanted to go to a lake for sun bathing and swimming. I never leave the house with naked nails...lol. So I grabbed a holo polish because they dry sooo fast. And I believe I had never used China Glaze BFF before. I added a full nail stamp from the new BM set.

Base China Glaze BFF a pink holo from the OMG collection. Stamped with Konad SN white and BM314.

Here some swatches of this gorgeous polish.

Have a nice day, thanks for reading :)

Olympic nails

Hello,

I made these nails friday, I was hoping that we would win some more medals this weekend. And we did...our small country won some more medals :) Even won more today.

I went for a gold holographic base and used the colors of the Olympic flag for stamping. To stay in the Olympic theme I used a circle full nail stamp and stars for the french tips.

Golden Rose Paris Holographic 104. Stamped with Konad SN yellow, SN blue, SN black, SN red and SN green. Imageplate M85 and M44.

Also a bit of matching toes. Just some stars in the Olympic colors on my big toe.
Stamped with the same colors used imageplate M3.

Here some swatches of this golden holo.
 With flash.

A bit blurry.

I really like watching all kinds of sport with the Olympics but I love gymnastics. (I did that when I was younger for more then 10 years, but I was a bit tooo tall ;))

Have a nice evening.

OPI DS Illuminate with golden nail art

Hello Everyone,

I have this polish for a few years but never used it my self before. Don't ask me why because it is really beautiful. But some how I always think no brown is more for Fall ;)

I did some golden nail art on it but pffff that was hard to capture on a photo. Too much bling bling, so the pictures aren't that great.

Base OPI DS Illuminate, stamped with China Glaze 2030 and XL B (tips) and XL F. Some golden rhinestones and a gold line with a golden glitter striper from Konad.

This is more color accurate but the stamps arent' showing that well.

And here swacthes of this pretty color.
I love the green glow it had over it (not showing on my nails on the picture but you can see it in the bottle).

Enjoy your sunday!
