Halloween 2015: Zombies

Hello  Everyone,

Today a new Halloween mani I did for the BM challenge. The theme that day was Zombies. I love doing Halloween mani's I have so much fun with all the challenges on IG or in FB groups.

 Base a gradient with Nailways 73 Grass and 22 Linear. On top Essence 02 Night in Vegas for the flakies. Stamped the zombies from MyOnline Shop MJ XXV and the zombie hands and bats are from Bundle Monster BM H08, Stamped with Sinful Colors Black on Black and made it all matte with China Glaze Magic Matte.

Military nails

Hi Everyone,

I have still so many older mani's to show you but here is one I did today ;) In one of the facebook groups the alphabetchallenge is the letter M so I thought M is for military :) In another group the challenge is Memorial Day, we don't celebrate this we had something similar earlier this month. But I thought this kinda fits that theme too, for all the soldiers who fought or are still fighting for their country.

Made the camo base with P2 Your Wild Side matte 010 Vibrant green with Camo from MyOnline Shop MJ XXVII stamped with Konad brown, jungle green and grey pearl. And stamped with Konad black the rifle, soldier, grenade, tank and tags also from MyOnline Shop MJ XXVII.

Here is picture of just the camo base.

I already swatched this polish some years ago so I did not take a picture of only the base now. But it is a beautiful matte polish.

Well, it's one for the money, Two for the show, Three to get ready....

Hi Everyone, 

Sorry for not blogging for a while. I've been busy and I am sick too. But I have been posting on my fb page and on instagram. 

Even though I am sick I had to do the TAG you are it challenge for a Facebook group I only had a week that was almost over ;) I had 3 choices and combined 2 of them so I chose vintage/grunge style and inspired by an old song :)  

"Well, it's one for the money, 

Two for the show, 

Three to get ready, 

Now go, cat, go.  

But don't you step on my blue suede shoes. 

You can do anything but lay off of my Blue suede shoes."  

Base Essence 33 Wilde White Ways and Flormar 47 on ring finger. Added blue flocking powder on my ringfinger to make it look like like a suede shoe haha it sure feels soft ;) Stamped the "shoelace" with parts of Konad M7 and Bundle Monster BM420. Used a grey, white, light blue and darker blue to make the vintage/grunge distressed look. Stamped with BP-47 the music notes, Elvis is from MyOnline Shop MJ XXII and the shoe prints are from Nailways Snowwhite - Traces.  Used Konad stamping polishes and made it all matte with China Glaze Magic matte.

And the grunge/vintage/distressed base. Later added a little dark blue brush strokes.

I did this really quick but I am pretty happy with how these turned out. It was a fun mani to do and great theme. I still have many more mani's to show you all :)

Christmas wishlist ;)

Hi Everyone,

Here a mani I did earlier, I believe it was for a challenge in AIS. It was to make your Christmas wishes on your nails. Well my true wish just isn't possible, but polishes and plates are always a nice present. So I stamped all kinds of polish and plate brands and made a Christmas tree out of polishes.

Base Sinful Colors Black on Black and Snow me White. Stamped the polish brands with FUN12 and used a Konad, Winstonia, Nailways, Essence, FUN and MJ plate for their logo's. Made a polish tree with the nailpolish bottles on FUN 12.  Stamped using Konad polishes.

World Cup: The Netherlands - Costa Rica

Hi Everyone,

Today another World Cup mani for the game The Netherlands - Costa Rica this evening. Well I am ready :) And do hope we win again. I have so much fun making these World Cup mani's.

Base China Glaze Orange You Hot, stamped all the soccer/ foot balls from Winstonia W103 (double stamped first in white and colored them white stamped over them in black), made the Dutch and the Costa Rica flag with lines from BM 411 and FUN12. The Dutch Cow is from Moyou Tourist 15 and the Costa Rica Toucan from Winstonia W03. The World Cup is from MJ XXIV tester plate.

Just a short post today, still have the same World Cup pedi like last weekend...they brought us luck.

World Cup 2014

Hi Everyone,

Here my World Cup nails for this year. Will do more ofcourse so hopefully we make it passed the first round ;) I did these earlier last week before I cut my nails. I needed them long to do this ;) And that night the Dutch team was playing their last friendly practise game, so it was fun to watch with orange nails :) Now I won't have much time to do my nails.

Base a gradient with China Glaze Son of a Peach and Impala Tech. Made some stamping decals and layered the stamping decals and stamping too. World Cup from MJ XXIV test plate stamping using multiple colors and layered it over a white image, cause otherwise the colors would not show up well. The Dutch flag is stamped with Konad M44 stamped all the lines seperately. The stadium, Rio and the Brazil flag heart are from Moyou Tourist 14. The smaller ball and World Cup from Konad M49 and the bigger soccer ball is from Konad M52. Used Konad SN black, white, red, blue, yellow and green.

It was really hard to scrape and not blend the colors on the world cup and the grass in the stadium and later adding a stamping decal of the little ball on top, but at the end I really liked this soccer/footbal mani.

The Beatles in the newspaper

Hi everyone,

Today a mani I did yesterday :) I know I still have so many older ones to show too but I wanted to share this one. I've read about the Blogger Mani-a giveaway and there were so many fun themes listed that I wanted to do a few mani's with those themes. My first idea was to do a Cats mani (will show that later this week) Then I asked if you could do more then one mani :) cause I saw a few entries already from the same artist. And they said yes your could do more, so I am having with all those themes. Wanted to do all of the themes but no time for that ;) But I did do more then one ;) One of the themes is The Beatles.

When I thought of The Beatles this song popped up in me head:

"When I was younger so much younger than today 

I never needed anybody's help in any way 

(But) But now these days are gone (These days are gone), I'm not so self assured (I know I've found) 

Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors  

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down

I have been singing it all day :) So I hope you guys now too have it stuck in your head haha.

I decided to make an old newspaper mani with The Beatles.

Base Catrice C01 Pebble Beach, stamped with P2 Sun love 040 Summer rain mixed with a little black and parts of Bundle Monster BM 311. The Beatles from My Online Shop tester plate MJ XXIII.

And here a picture of just the base with the newspaper print. I double stamped some parts so not every nail looked the same as my ring finger (that is how the original image looks like).

Olympics Sochi 2014

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to make a Olympic mani to support my country :) Ofcourse I had to use orange (our national color) and our Dutch flag and since the Dutchies are very good at speed ice skating I had to do something with ice skates but since I don't own any of those images I had to improvise LOL (see details below).  

Base Barry M multiglitter 333 and a sponged accent nail in the Olympic colors (Konad SN blue, SN yellow, SN green and SN red). Konad SN white sponged tips and sponged over that with Konad PSN psyche orange.  Stamped the Sochi Olympic logo from MJ XXIV tester plate in Konad SN black. Stamped the rest with Konad SN white. Made the medal with the part of the pink ribbon image on FUN1 and Cheeky CH48 using Essence A Piece of Forever. For the ice skating guy I used part of an image on MJ XXIV tester plate and gave him skates using a dotting tool and part of the helicopter image on FUN1. I also did not had a big ice skate so I used the roller skate on MJ XXV removed the wheels and again used a dotting tool and stamped part of the helicopter from FUN1 to make it look like an ice skate haha :)The cheering guy is from MJ XXIV tester plate too. Made the Dutch flag with stripes from FUN7 stamping them all seperately using Konad SN red, SN white and SN blue.

I find it fun to look at the plates I do have trying to think of what I can use to make a certain image...always very challenging. The result ain't perfect but it was still fun to do :)

Our small country already won 12 medals with ice skating.

Dark green holo with holo flowers

Hi Everyone,

Today something I had on my nails a few weeks ago. Some of you may have noticed these nails on the picture of myself in my last post where I was holding all the FUN stuff :)

It was something I did really quick (like I said before busy), but I just wanted to try out that holo and play with some of my MJ (MyOnline Shop) testers plates. 

 Base Born Pretty Store holo no 12 a gorgeous dark green (love love love it). Stamped the flowers with Color Club Angel Kiss and added dots with Color Club Eternal Beauty MyOnline Shop tester plate MJ XXIII (MJ23) and the heart "All we need is love" from the MJ tester plate MJ XXV (MJ25) with Konad SN white.
