Vintage Love Letter

Hi Everyone,

Today another Valentine's Day mani for you a Vintage Love Letter. A little inspired by Notty Norma and the couple of letter nails she did.

Base China Glaze FYI (a nude holo) stamped with brown and BM301 later dabbed China Glaze FYI on parts over it again. Stamped the hearts with dark red and BMH17 and on top stamped with black and BM311 the "love letters".  

I was happy with how these turned out :) I thought about making it matte later but then forgot and already had it removed.

The Beatles in the newspaper

Hi everyone,

Today a mani I did yesterday :) I know I still have so many older ones to show too but I wanted to share this one. I've read about the Blogger Mani-a giveaway and there were so many fun themes listed that I wanted to do a few mani's with those themes. My first idea was to do a Cats mani (will show that later this week) Then I asked if you could do more then one mani :) cause I saw a few entries already from the same artist. And they said yes your could do more, so I am having with all those themes. Wanted to do all of the themes but no time for that ;) But I did do more then one ;) One of the themes is The Beatles.

When I thought of The Beatles this song popped up in me head:

"When I was younger so much younger than today 

I never needed anybody's help in any way 

(But) But now these days are gone (These days are gone), I'm not so self assured (I know I've found) 

Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors

I have been singing it all day :) So I hope you guys now too have it stuck in your head haha.

I decided to make an old newspaper mani with The Beatles.

Base Catrice C01 Pebble Beach, stamped with P2 Sun love 040 Summer rain mixed with a little black and parts of Bundle Monster BM 311. The Beatles from My Online Shop tester plate MJ XXIII.

And here a picture of just the base with the newspaper print. I double stamped some parts so not every nail looked the same as my ring finger (that is how the original image looks like).

Colorful peace woodstock nails

Hi Everyone,

I've made these nails over a month ago but I forgot to blog about them. Did posted them on my facebook. I've made this for a small music festival in the place I live...it was called Woodstock at the Waal.

Base Barry M (yaay my first Barry M polish) black multi glitter 333. Stamped with Konad SN white and BM07 (weed leaf), BM 320 (Peace sign) and BM311 (flowers) colored over it with neon stripers from So Easy and Flormar.

My sis made me a Hippie headband out of pieces of grass and flowers while we were sitting in the grass enjoying the music :)

These nails were nail art of the week on Bundle Monster their facebook a couple of weeks ago :) I was soo honored :)

Newspaper love nails

Hi everyone :)

I wanted to try the Saran wrap technique again :) but this time with less contrasting colors. So I used 2 shades of shimmer grey. I wanted to make it look like an old newspaper or something similair. So I could finally use this cool BM plate full nail design. Have been seeing lots of great manis with this, so I really wanted to use it too :)

 

Base is Impala - pier (a pearly grey shimmer) saran wrap with P2 sun love LE 040 summer rain (a more brownish grey shimmer). Stamped with Konad SN black and BM311.

 

When you use this stamp and it goes a bit wrong or not everything transfers on your nails is reeally doesn't matter, it makes it look more like an old newspaper ;)

Impala SPFW na mira 3D with simple nail art.

I loveeee this polish sooo much woohoo. And I miss my Brazilian friend :( She lived in Holland for 2 years for her job and was the girlfriend of my best friend, but they broke up. Now she is living in Brazil again. Before she sometimes went back to Brazil to visit her family or on holiday together with my best friend and then they brought me lots of nail polish goodies. This is one of the polishes I got a while ago but never used it (maybe because I like it so much and it isn't a big bottle).

I just added a small stamp because I did not want cover up this gorgeous polish entirely.

Base Impala SPFW na mira 3D, stamped with BM311 and Konad SN white. Added neon dots  in the flowers with a dotting tool with China Glaze I Am With The Lifeguard, Sunworshiper, Under the Boardwalk.

 Matching toes.

All fingers together.
